I think lennon wants to play 4-3-3 which is what he started with in his first season and how we have lined up in the past few games.

A powerful guy like Rhodes or Baba would make a great addition.

Either him or Diawara in along with a "Quality" CB.

    OUT:

    Hooiveld
    O'Dea
    Juarez
    Thompson
(All possibly away in the summer.)

    Cha
    Majstorovic
    Loovens
    M.Wilson
(All out of Contract in the summer.)

    Samaras
Brown (If a good offer comes in.)
Rogne (If he can't stay fit.)

Would like to see us sign Craig Gordon on a pre contract & McDonald Mariga (Wanyama's Brother) who is out of the picture at Inter and currently loaned out to Real Sociedad.

I'd also like to see us go for Johnny Russell and Templeton.

    agreed.

wouldn't mind signing Paul Dixon on a Bosman to cover Izaguirre as well.

also, everyone on loan can go - Murphy, Rasmussen, O'Dea, McGinn etc.

if Rogne, Loovens and Majstorovic were to leave, we'd need two new centre backs to compete with K. Wilson and Mulgrew - although if Wanyama's brother were to join him in Paradise, Wanyama could focus on being a centre back.

Templeton would only become an option if Brown or any winger were to leave.

i am unsure of Russell. if we get Baba or Rhodes, i can't see another striker coming in.

I forgot about Murphy, Rasmussen and McGinn. They can all leave.

Rhodes is a poacher. We don't need another poacher. We need a target man like Diawara. But we won't go for him we will go for the cheaper option which is Rhodes and we don't need a player like him!!!. Ah well I guess it will be another year seeing Forrest sending brilliant crosses into the box only for then to soar past our midgets. Thanks Quantity or Quality PLC.

Rhodes is the same height as Baba and is superb in the air as well.

hasn't Rhodes scored almost half his goals with his head? something no one currently at the club can boast.

He has scored a lot of headers in recent weeks. He is a tall lad and I'm sure if he were to hit the gym over the close season he could bulk up and maybe focus on adding to his game instead of being a poacher. Still only a young man jsut needs to fill out a bit.

He may score with his head sometimes but he is still a poacher. On sportcene a couple of weeks ago they showed his goals and all of them were inside the box, he's a poacher not a target man, just a taller version of Hooper. He's nothing more than a prospect we need to go out and buy proven talent if we want to win the league

but target mean score the majority of their goals inside the box. in fact, most strikers score their goals in the box.

i agree he is a poacher, but one that can score with his head. we don't have that here. i'd take him if the fee is right as you say, he is raw talent at the moment.

i don't buy into the 'proven talent' ideology. half our team had very little experience at any level before coming here. in fact during our CL days, it was their first time on the stage. i just want someone who has a proven track record at finding the net and shows good movement. i think this kid ticks the boxes but £2m? they must be having a laugh.

Agree. We need a striker that can score headers and beat players in the air, not a tricky player. We have some amount of corners and free kicks and rarely score from them, Rhodes would sort that out:50:

Also, £2 million is a fair price.

We have Rasmussen though who is a tall poacher. And we do need proven talent. Yes half our team did have little experience but for every Kayal there will be 5 duds I.e Bangura, Mcginn, Juarez, Hoovield and McCourt.

He was an 87th minute substitute for Jamie Mackie and had a stinging shot parried by the Cyprus goalkeeper in injury time. Scotland won the match 2–1. Rhodes said to the press after the game, "It was never in doubt I would be sticking with Scotland. I'm Scottish through and through. I had all the jerseys as a kid and grew up watching Scotland.

£2 million for Rhodes is a * bargain imo!!
