    once he plays a full 90 mins we will be able to judge his best position cause so far we have only really seen his attacking qualities

    not really he could have ended up with a bad injury as the game went on plus cup matches are notorious for throwing up shock defeats so it was better to be safe and play a strong team rather than a lot of youngsters

    Would have brought him on a lot sooner but in the flashes we've seen of him so far he looks like a real prospect.:icon_mrgreen:

    I think a modern midfielder is a cm and a winger, is interchangable and dynamic. Certainly d*cked a few Perterhead players down the wing today:86:

    Think this bhoy would be comfortable playing lm,Rm,cm or even in the no.10 hole behind a lone striker away in Europe.

    Really looking forward to seeing more of him

    Looked great when he came on today.

    And, TBH, he was in my starting 11 for today's game;

    Forster
    Matthews - Rogne - Mulgrew - Izaguirre
    Forrest - Wanyama - McGeough - Ledley
    Stokes - Sammy

    With subs from;

    Zaluska, Cha, K Wilson, Fraser, Brown, Ki, George, Irvine, Keatings, Watt, Ras

    But then, I'm no Neil Lennon, lol

    Still delighted Dylan had a run out and hope to see more of him as the season goes on - especially if we don't bring anyone in to replace Kayal...

    Completely agree about him playing in the number 10 role, I've seen him play around 10 times now and I'd say all his best work is done from in and around the edge of the box.

    He really does look like he could be a very special player, he's not had much chance to show it yet in the first team but he is a very accurate striker of the ball from outside the box and can hit a mean freekick.

    I think he'll be a fully fledged first 11 player by this time next year....

    I also expect him to make a decent impact this season during games that we have a 2-3 goal lead.

    I agree Hendo, the ability's there but I just think it'll take him a while before he can force his way into a starting spot.

    This is one thing that Lenny seems to be great at, bringing through youth players.
    He has given debuts to Forrest, who has been top class, Fraser, McGeouch, George, Twardzik and I'm sure there is another defender. Callum something?:50:
    Hopefully there is more to follow, especially Keatings:50:

    Really hope we start giving him a solid 20 minutes when we are 2 or so up. That and a few starts this season will set him up nicely to play a big part come the next campaign.

    Same mate. I know Lennon knows best when it comes to his development but from a purely selfish point of view I would love to see him get a lot more minutes and I actually think he will, especially with Kayal out so there's 1 less option on the bench.

    He looks like the complete opposite from your normal 18 year old given his chance at senior level, he is the one actually chasing looking to get on the ball and make things happen.

    Yep. As much as I wouldn't be too protective of him, Lennon handled Forrest just right.

    I think that will turn out one Lennons best qualities being a young manager, and he has a great crop to cherry pick from.

    I'd let George hang back until next season but can't wait to see him gettin mins.

    I want him in the team already too, hes always created and scored goals and no doubt he will for the top team too.

    If Stokes slipped him in instead of Ki yesterday he'd have cut in and stuck it in the net.
