Lennon will have to go by Christmas if we haven't improved.

People have 'waited patiently' since season 2007!!!! That's the last time we won the league. It's not just Lennons fault, but I believe he has the squad to win the league, and he's twelve points behind. With your attitude you prolongue the embarrassment, how many points will we have to be behind Rangers in order for you to finally see sense?

The buck stops with the manager - he is not good enough and should not be in charge of this club any longer should be sacked right away .

Stein: Celtic shirts dont shrink to fit inferior players - this should count for inferior managers too.

No more excuses Lennon has to go.

It is a perfectly valid view given the evidence a quick search on the forum, and a scan to certain sections of the stadium on match days will show. Sadly.

That doesn't change regardless of what your views on the manager are, within reason of course.

Anyone advocating leaving this until the end of the season is off their head.

For a start it was 2008 the last time we won the league. Secondly, we have a manager & until such time as Lenny either steps aside to is removed he should be given our support. Can't believe so many as so readily willing toy. cut his throat when things get a little bumpy. We need stability, not a manager merry-go-round.

I can't remember a time when a Celtic manager was given so much leeway by the fans take off the blinkers he's a very bad manager end of story take yesterday who here thought when we are drawing nothing each with hibs at home and can't buy a goal he takes off a striker for samaras why not go for the win get the 3 of them on the park a draw was as useful as a defeat yesterday let's be honest he shat it why not just go for or will all the usual we are all neil Lennon bellends out there start telling us a draw was a good result because apparently it was a good result when we stormed back to scrape a draw at killie * stormed back no one else think it's a disgrace we where 3-0 nil down in the first place pathetic he should've been pumped after that game him and his jobs for the boys pals but instead he comes out and says that result saved me the sack how the * can a draw with killie SAVE you the sack it should be getting you pumped on the spot

A winning team on the park is what we need, and if that comes as a result of changing the manager then so be it.

As much as I love Neil Lennon, the sad reality is that he's not up to it.

Its not a manger merry go round, the bottom line is this is a results based buissness and every manager that takes a job on regardless of who they are must accept critisism..... the manager signed these under performing wallopers while making the mistake of not signing a defence ie our centtre backs must be some of the worst in thee league!!!

I am sick of saying on here that we havnt signed a DECENT CENTRAL DEFENDER FOR 5 YEARS OR MORE............. we are amateurish in the transfer market especially the defensive side of things, we paid about est 5 or 6 million for juarez and hoovheid and there not even here, there loaned out!!! yet you look accross the city and see the hunns rebuilding there spine/ central are and they rebuild it for the combined price of wanyama???? somethings really wrong here imo!!!

And i am for 1 discusted, i have backed lenny up until now but with this rate we will just keep dropping points................. its not good enough, i would love lenny to turn this around and go the rest of the season unbeaten but i just cant see it....... people need to stop kidden there selves and start asking what the * is going on at our club!!!!!

And i persoanlly dont know what desmond is doing there because imo if he was a real supporter he would throw at least 20 million in to the mix to get us back on top..... dont give a * what any * says ie he cant just go throwing money about etc etc if it was me a real supporter i would do it if a had his bank account!!! thats the bottom line, the majority on here would do the same.

I feel for lenny i really do but to be * honest his man management really needs to looked at, questioned???

First of all no need to take a thread on neil lennon to be taken of topic.

Your right things don't happen over night but when your at celtic it shouldn't need to take 2 seasons for you to find your feet.. I don't really blame lennon for failing to be honest, He came in at a time when mowbray had sold off pretty much everyone who had been over the course in the spl and lennon had to start from scratch and to get new players in and show them how fight and scrap for every win and above all how to win the league.

He hasn't been able to do that it's really that simple i'm afraid mate I don't know if you watch celtic week in week out but if you do then I fail to see how you can say we can win this league. The players are not playing the way the manager wants them too, He comes out after every bad result and says the same thing. "we didn't have enough urgency or tempo" certain players didn't turn up" "no fight or passion in the team" He can see these failings we can everyone can yet over the course of this season we still have the same problems and I think it's pretty obvious he is not going to be able to change it. Alot of problems stretching back into last season aswell it must be said.

please don't compare neil lennon to alex ferguson :icon_mrgreen:

It wasnt taking the thread off topic at all .....It is the wider picture and is my opinion that if some fans got behind the players then they would perform better then there would be no need for these threads as Lennons job wouldnt be in doubt ....But unfortunatley certain fans use the club for their political views , i just dont believe our club is there for that ...

I didn't say he didn't have an opinion did I? To name just one reason, The 'Keep the faith/ Faithful through and through' section of the support are the reason we end up with a manager with absolutely no experience in the first place.

And you must be a little naive to think that all it would take is the fans to get behind the players more and all our problems would be solved!

Just agreed with another of your posts in another thread, and I say the same again.

We all love Lenny for who he is and what he wants. Unfortuantely that's not enough. The job requires somebody with a quicker managerial mind.
