He made his international debut for Australia against Bahrain on February 22, 2006 in an Asian Cup qualifier and has also represented Australia at U/17, U/20 and U/23 levels.
He played in 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship. Until this point, Scott had also been eligible to play for Scotland, as both of his parents are immigrant Scots

I heard he had played for the Wallabies too
but that is not the issue here anyway

Scott MacDonald is a wee nippy sweetie of a forward, who
can also score goals, and in our company, he will run amok
    in the Premier League

He could be our new master poacher for us

Do you know him personally, or are you just an angry person and hate any one who dares score against us? This singing tells me that Majik and or Miller will be departing this summer. I dont think any of us can question GS singings as he seems to get most bang on.

    I agree
    It looks like that way
Probably Miller, Jarosik, Lennon and Zurawaski going out the door.

    Welcome aboard Scott MacDonald
You have my full support in a Celtic jersey :shamrock:
and if Robbie Keane comes on board now, even better..:50:

Personally I hate Bellamy not McDonald. Bellamy is a bad excuse for a human being and would upset the dressing room. Would be happy with Keane but it wont happen and I dont want him signing when he is past 30. McDonald signing suggests Kenny or Magic or both are off. I think McDonald will score loads as he is a natural striker.

I will put my neck out here and say he will do very well. He was only 21 when he scored that goal and even then was looking a good player many thought would get a move up. He is only 23 now and I think he has gone stale at Well but will be a big success with us. He has very good technique-is very hard to mark, fast, good at turning defenders, strong for a wee guy, very good shot and a natural finisher. Dont panic though if you dont like him cause I dont think he is not THE big striker we will be signing.

Bellamy is a fantastic player u cant disagree with that... i understand that hes a loose cannon but WGS knows how 2 handle him from there days at coventry! just look back 2 that old firm game when he * on the huns at ibrox and he only playd 45 mins.... if we do get him he is the perfect player 2 partner JVOH. WHAT A STRIKE FORCE better than Boyd and Novo any day...
