I think we should rest one or two and bring in a few fringe players, can't change it up too much otherwise we could start slowly and let Hibs into the game.

    Id try this out

    Zaluska
    Cha Loovens Mulgrew Matthews
    ------Kayal---Wanyama--Ledley
    ----Forrest----Bangura---Paddy

so a 4-3-3, giving Ki a rest and stokes and hooper, but have them on the bench just in case something goes wrong.

Is Lennon plans to play with players who do not have a big play time ?

    Resona for selection

Zakuska- foster is a liability and a good performance might get him number 1 spot

Wilson el kad commons paddy- need game time

Bangura Rogne - return from injury

Hooper - desperate need of confidence and stokes could do with the rest good shift he's Put in playing lone striker last week

As nice as it would be to win this, I'm not overly fussed. The league has to be the priority, so I would take this game as a chance to experiment a little with the line up to try and find a good one.

Also, we need more player smilies.

With all the europa league and spl games coming up I'd rather we rest some players and played a mixture of 1 st team and youth

    Zaluska
    Wilson Rogne Mulgrew Twardzik
    Mccourt Kayal Ledley Mcgeouch
    Bangura Watt

    1-0 Celtic bangura

The way we are playing at the moment anything can happen, think this could be a tough test for us, think lenny may reshuffle the pack a bit may see the likes of Zaluska, Mark wilson, Commons, Mccourt, samaras getting a start on wednesday, think we will scrape through 2 - 1

I'd certainly mix it up a bit, freshen things up and give players a rest as I don't think we have a free midweek for a few weeks now.

    Zaluska
    M.Wilson Loovens Chuck El Kaddouri
    McGeouch Kayal Ledley Commons
    Stokes George

    or something along those lines.

Hooper jsut doesn't look fit and I think some time out might get him to get his act together. Ki has played a lot of football in the last few months and looks tired, as does Forrest.

That team should be enough to see off Hibs. Maybe even try to get a good lead and bring on some of the young players like George and McGeouch. Maybe even if Commons is fit might be time for him to get his finger out. Doubt it though, feel he's played his last games for Celtic.

It's going to be difficult for lennon here. Does he play the likes of mulgrew mastorovic ledley and mathews to try and keep a consistent defence in there or does he rest a couple in case they are injured.

I'm not overly fussed about winning these cups unless we won the league, this game for me is more about just winning. If we don't win then it will just heap more pressure on the team.

    Forster

    Matthews Majstorovic Mulgrew(c) El Kaddouri

    McCourt Kayal Wanayama Ledley

    Stokes Hooper

Would give Forrest and Ki a rest for this one, would also bring back El Kaddouri. (Love Ledley, but it is pointless playing him at LB). Hooper needs to get his finger out his hole aswell, hopefully he can bang a few in and get back to his best. A clean sheet would be a welcomed bonus also.

3-0 Celtic, Stokes, Hooper & Mulgrew.

With our schedule b4 the November break in mind:
    Sat Oct 29 Hibs H
    Thu Nov 3rd Rennes H
    Sun Nov 6th M'well A

All must-wins, so I'd give our young players (Matthews, Wanyama, Forrest, Ki) a rest, and give a chance to Rogne, M.Wilson, Kaddouri, George, Bangura, Commons to show up. Stokes as lone striker but with plenty of support...

Just a win will do me fine. Hope we can win this as any silverware is a good thing imo. I really hope we give Paddy 90 mins. Would also like to see Bangura (if fit) and Commons back to his best, not looked right so far. 2-0 Celtic

I would like to rest Matthews, Forrest, Hooper and Ki in this game and also id like to see McCourt, George and McGeouch playing.

If it was me id play

    Zaluska
    Wilson Majstorovic Mulgrew El Kaddouri
    McGeouch Kayal Ledley George
    Stokes McCourt

Wont happen though. But its the League Cup and we need to rest a couple of guys. Cha/Wanyama, Slane/McGregor and Bangura to come on if their available.

Going to be a tricky game. Hibernian has a decent squad but i can see it being 2-0. Late goal to kill them off. Should play the same team i think

Similiar to the formation we played on the weekend. McCourt deserves a chance and I think Ki needs a bit of a rest, that is still a strong midfield.

If Loovens isn't fit put Rogne in if he's match fit, if not Maj. I think we need to start getting some consistancy at the back.

    Bench of:

    Zulaska
    Rogne/Maj
    George
    McGeough
    Samaras

Think there's only five allowed in this competition isn't there?

My first away match this season, got the night off work for it, cant wait. Going for a 3-0 with hooper and a stokes brace. Hopefully paddy gets a decent run out, when he came on the other day, he lifted the bhoys a bit and should have scored a paddy special...cmon bhoys
