    I honestly could not name a player in our squad who is better than McFadden, If his knee is 100% then he should be signed pronto.

    After watching us go 3-0 down today, I can't imagine what would have been running through his head. If the rumours are true and Moyes really wants to bring him back to Everton, I can't see any other outcome.

    He has the chance to pick up a bigger wage packet down there and play against the likes of Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea, whereas up here, he'd be playing for his boyhood heroes, but would be picking up less wages and playing against the likes of St Mirren and Dunfermline.

    think he will bring some creativity and imagination to our team and we badly need it. Also he might give the team and supporters a lift but we really need to get our defence sorted asap. otherwise we will keep leaking goals.

    Its the classic trial period celtic seem to do so much of these days, i want to look at the player for a week then decide if i want to sign him or not, other clubs don't need a trial period and * him up. Honestly its McFadden not Mphele or some unknown guy for slovenia.

    Giving a trail to a player who has been out for a year + is a great thing to do. If we had of did it with Freddie we might have saved 250k + last season.

    A medical should be enough to figure out whether he's in the condition to sign or not. Assuming our medical staff are up to the job. This season it appears not.
