Who won the league but? and who's dominated OF games over the past 3 years overall.

Fair doos but over the past 4 years just look at who's dominated the OF games in general, I'm positive it will be the scum, and 3 of those 4 years the league title has went to them.

I just think the huns want to win the league more and want to win OF matches more than our players do. To me we need more players obviously with ability but we need players with the passion too, the absolute hatred of the huns.

The point is the players that didnt even grow up huns have swiftly became fans and know what it means to play for them - not many of our players do.

I wouldn’t have Ki anywhere near an Old Firm game so you can score him off the list.

    Brown Kayal Ledley Commons

That's a MF who hate the Filth.

We have the more talented bunch, but as much as it pains me to say it, they have the more passionate bunch. It may be something to do with the fact that the bulk of their squad are from Scotland and Northern Ireland, which so happen to be the two main countries associated with Old Firm rivalry:

    McGregor - Scottish.
    Alexander - Scottish.
    Naismith - Scottish.
    Lafferty - Northern Irish.
    Broadfoot - Scottish.
    Weir - Scottish.
    Whittaker - Scottish.
    Wallace - Scottish.
    Wylde - Scottish.
    Healy - Northern Irish.
    Davis - Northern Irish.
    McCulloch - Scottish.

These are all big game players for them that know what the Old Firm rivalry is all about and what it means to win these games. Compare that to ours:

    Forster - English.
    Izaguirre - Honduran.
    Kayal - Israeli.
    Hooper - English.
    Ledley - Welsh.
    Samaras - Greek.
    El Kaddouri - Moroccan.
    Zaluska - Polish.
    Majstorovic - Swedish.
    Loovens - Dutch.
    K.Wilson - English.
    Rogne - Norwegian.
    Ki - South Korean.
Commons - English (born in Mansfield, eligible for Scotland).

It's not hard to see which bunch of players care more about winning when it comes to derby games in Scotland. That showed in the last game we played against them.

I'm not talking about then I'm talking about now. Plus the huns team was full of foreigners then too. It just seemed to me on the first OF day the huns wanted it more. They had more desire to win that match and I think it's down to them being pure huns.

    Doubt it.

    Doubt what?

The only huns they really have I would say are Lafferty, McCulloch, Wylde and Naismith. Davis is quite a quiet character as is Whittaker and McGregor even if Davis was a hun fan he doesnt come across like it and Whittaker and McGregor are Edinburgh guys who supported Hearts and Hibs.

We're not where we are because the huns gubbed us. We couldn't rise to St. Jonstone and the Hearts, who only a couple of weeks ago were humiliated by spurs. If all we needed was players to rise to huns games we'd not be in the * we're in. We're hear because the tactics are bizarre, the selection is totally random, the players at the heart of the defence and the midfield are not good enough. Loovens and Majstorovic make Caldwell and McManus look like Barezi and Maldini!!...

I think you're over analysing it and that poor defending and Hooper not being in form has been the bigger problems.

    :50:

The differance for me is they have the hierarchy that all winning teams have. They have the McGregor, Weir, Broadfoot, Whittaker, McCulloch, Edu, Davis and Lafferty who have been there and done it so all new players they add know that and want to do better than them so they are always pushed on.

Where as our whole squad are basically new players and dont have the same mentality of "X player is seen as better than me I need to show im better" they are all on the same level so theres less competition.

Mowbray wiped out the "hierarchy" from Celtic and got sacked leavig Lennon to start a fresh with a full squad of new players.

Davis not a hun? he had a carpet ripped up at his wedding because it was green and replaced with a blue one ffs. The scottish lads that play for Rangers will know what it means to win an OF match and know what it means to win the league which is the point I'm making.

They knew what it meant to win the league and what it meant to win OF matches. Look at the huns team at that time too but, they were full of foreigners aswell and therefore it was just a football match then really. But the team we're facing now are pure battle-hardened huns that know what it means to win for the huns and they absolutely despise Celtic.

He's not a hun in the way your making out, like despising Celtic and desperate to beat us. Any hun fan will tell you he never turns up for big games like against us same with Lafferty too really 1 goal in 14 games against us? Samaras has score more in less games against the huns.

The probllem has nothing to do with the players supporting anyone.

Lafferty has been * up until this year, and I expect him to score against us this year again if we keep going the way we are. Also majority of the games he played against us he played LM and not as a striker.

And to say Davis doesn't hate us lol, that's just laughable.

It's maybe not totally to do with the players supporting anyone but it's because they know how important it is to keep winning so that Celtic don't win the league and they have hunger to beat us and hunger to win the league, more than us.

You can't base this current squad on the huns last 3 titles. If we had win that first OF game of this season, then this thread wouldn't have been made.

I'm not sure if Lee Wallace is a Catholic but you are spot on about the teams they support. Neither Wallace nor Whittaker are Huns.

Aye but did we win the first OF game of the season? NAW. That's a dumb argument, that's like me saying, if we hadn't got beat off Hearts would the other threads about getting beat off them have been made?

I agree, but we definitely have the best midfield. Huns have better Defence and strikers atm.

We have actually won 8 each of the las 20 Old Firm games going back to March 2008.

And the current squad has won 3 out of 8 losing 3 too but we have won 4 out of the last 9.

He is a Catholic, his mate phoned up Real Radio about 2 and a half years ago January 2009 I think, when we were being linked with him and corrected people who said they thought he was a Rangers fan. He said he was a Catholic and supported Hibs and would jump at the chance to join Celtic or along those lines :50:
