I think Stokes will ask for a transfer in January as Lennon is treating him worse than a dog.Lennon has his favorites who always play in his team, and Stokesy's face for whatever reason dozen't fit with Lennon.

a don't want him to go but he needs to be given a chance in europe and tonight would have been perfect he would have bagged a couple of goals against that defense

Yes. I like him, but if he wants to further his career, it looks like he'll have to leave.

if he wants to play more games he has to show lennon he cant be lft out of it by scoring more than the other options.
    Its in his own hands.

Really feel sorry for him. Don't know what he has to do to start a big game.

Why because he,s too slow and wouldnt have fitted into tonights europeen game???? aye he should put him self forward on to that invisible transfer list and ask away??? ffs why should he be a starter considering he missed a tap in at the weekend against caley... far too many people on here have too much of a hard on for anthony stokes, aye he,s good but bangura proved the night that he could be even better.

The manger watches the training we DONT :50:

To be fair to Lennon he could actually say stokes like loovens and lurch were pure * on Saturday and for that reason were dropped.

So if you miss a tap in it means you should be automatically dropped despite being the second best striker at the club? If it was Hooper that missed a tap in you wouldnt be saying the same thing.

stoke can feel hard done by, done nothing to deserve to be dropped, but that being said, bangura's performance made me forget all about stokes, wee man had a very good game up front with hooper.

Does not * matter 1 bit if a players not performing he should be dropped/ simple........... if hoopers not performing he should be dropped too.. ffs he wasnt right for tonight game, end of if he wants he can go to hibs coz he has clearly proved he is no were near premier league level, far too many irish celtic supporters on here have raging hard ons for him because he,s an irishman and want him to do well but a dont see the fuss to be honest, half the chances created at a club likes ours in spl level would be buried, infact a would prefer occonor at hibs compared to him, he,s certainly buried more than stokes this season with less chances, that teels its own story..........................

I like stokes I do, but when did he become bigger than GLASGOW CELTIC? Is our manager not entitled to pick the team he wishes and alter his tactics to suit? Did we sign him for massive money from Barcelona or get a deal on him from hibs? Stokes is a good player but we as a club need 16 to 18 good players all willing to sit on the bench when the manager asks them, and then perform for the team and fans when called upon. I think he can be a bit * off about the sammy situation in old firm games, but tonight i thought banguras movement and pace brought our midfielders into the game very well and I like the look of him.

Stokes can take the huff and ask away or he can work harder in training and get that extra yard we all know he needs to make him irreplaceable to the team. His talent cant be questioned but his attitude to training and personal fitness can according to the amount of fines he receives.

Sulk or man up and become a legend, i know what i would do!

He can request a transfer if he wants. I doubt he'll get a better club than Celtic, we wouldn't get a lot for him either.

Why would he ask for a move away?

He's playing and he's scoring goals and creating them, same as he did last season as well.

It is a common misconception he doesn't get a game, he plays an awful lot. In fact he played that much last season he refused to join up with Ireland because he felt tired.

His only problem is being dropped whenever a big game comes along. He will get his chance eventually and all we can hope is he takes it.
