Apart from Ronaldinho, Xavi and Puyol there aren't many top players in that Barca side. It is one of their poorest in the last decade imo

 

Surprised so many have voted the Man Utd and Barca games when they ended up meaning next to nothing (not even a memorable run afterwards I mean)

 

Voted Barca although their team then was nowhere near as good as todays, my dad always said the Leeds game was the best because it was a real Battle of Britain, they were both the kings of England and Scotland then, and those the days as well where English and Scottish players were actually decent! Inter weren't the best team we have beaten, we were better than them in 67, better than any other team around.

 

can remember my old man going on a lot about us beating the leeds team in the 70's said wee jimmy ripped them apart and they were supposed to be unbeatable in that time. The game against barca always sticks in my mind though as a great night

 

To me now matter that they weren't the team of old, but Liverpool away was just awesome, think Liverpool had only ever been beaten at home once, maybe twice before at home, in europe,before we hammered them down there.

ronaldinho is the most magical player i have had the pleasure of watching in my lifetime so that's why i went with barca.

 

I went with AC Milan, probably the best in my lifetime, they went on to win the European Cup and had players like Kaka, Pirlo, Maldini, Seedorf and Nesta. A large number of their team had won world/European cups.
All time I think maybe Ajax? Though it was before my time they had the likes of Cruyff, and at that time the Dutch generally were leading the way in world football.

 

Agree with the fella above me, as Milan went on to win the tournament the same season we beat them...

 

Juventus in 01 was the best game to be at in the new Celtic park, maybe not the best team we've beaten though.
