Neil Lennon....

dont agree with this we have a good team there & a decent squad as well as off course dead wood... but getting rotated all the time our team will never settle & putting out a defensive line up against that * shower of pish... well it just makes them look good when there not..diffrence is that * mob all know there role in the team & are settled.. ours dont have a clue most of them..throw in zonal marking then we truly do not have a * chance!!!

 

Our problems are as follows:

1.) Our defence is just awful. So lightweight against Jelavic and Lafferty with terrible positioning sense.
2.) Starting Samaras in the hole between striker and midfielder just doesnt work. It leads to us just by-passing the midfield and pumping the ball up to that space. Hooper is never close enough to Samaras to benefit on the odd time he wins the ball.
3.) Lennons substitutions are just poor. Added nothing when we needed a boost. He will have to start answering a lot of questions.

In short I just dont understand why we keep giving them so much respect. We know we can play the ball yet never do so because we insist on one upfront and playing long ball.

This is (and should be) Lennons make or break season. Losing the league to rangers with the state they are in cannot be tolerated. I still support him, but he has a lot of questions to answer and a lot to get sorted

How do u know what goes on in the changing rooms?

Didnt he bring out the best in samaras last season. Players like commons and majstoric speak highly of him . I know ure * at the result like we all are but no point slaggin the manager for * reasons.

 

Bitterly disappointed at today's result, however I have to agree with many of my fellow Celtic supporters that it was self-inflicted due to a combination of poor selection and tactical awareness.

At the moment it looks as if Rangers first choice eleven is better than ours, they appear to play to a certain game plan then they can change it if things are not going to plan (i.e. today's half time score), we don't appear to have this capabilty at the moment.

Once again Zonal Marking has cost us dear, Strachan also used it with much the same result, it's time to make players accountable for their opponents at dead ball situations.

I think Kelvin Wilson was shown up badly today, Loovens wasn't much better while KI and Samaras were passengers for much of the match.

Neil Lennon and his team need to have a re-think in terms of tactics, they have to get the team playing with a pattern, not of the cuff like most games.

 

Yeah I used to love it when Strachan said we were amazing after every 2-1 win over Falkirk, STjohnstone etc.

Commons and Maj didnt play because they have been so poor!

I think Lennon has a lot to answer for. He picked the wrong team, made the wrong subs, and watched his team get out fought by Rangers

 

A little analogy for you all:

Battle of Little Big Horn - Do you think it would have been acceptable for Gen. Custer to say "It's not my fault my soldiers didn't shoot enough Indians"?....No, it was his choice to turn up wasn't it!

You will get a lot of people on here today that say "It's not the manager's fault, it's the players" - PISH; That is just something unintelligent people say. The players were gash, but Lenny's decisions compounded things. I'm sure if you asked him, he'd be man enough to take responsibility. Not a sacking offence or anything, but a serious black mark against his resume'.

 

Again, terrible tactics by Lenny. * goes through his head sometimes? Such a stubborn hoor. He needs to learn from this * quickly but I still have every confidence that he will lead us to the title. Tiocfaidh ar la

 

of course ther gonna speak highly of them hes there manger..hes manged Commons well enough that hes came back from pre season fat as * & cant even get in the squad

I know as much as you what goes on in the dressing room yeah i may be clutching at straws a little but to me Lennon does not get the best out of players the way o neill did.. for example Hooper has went backwards since coming here.. as has Commons.. as has Kayal arguably... whilst o neill made * like Bobby Petta look like * Messi!

 

Anyone heard the lennon book of excuses post match interview yet ?

Then what has he given the supporters in return-that embarrassment today? Just not good enough bring back Martin O'Neill at least he knew hwo to regularly beat the huns and win titles.

 

I dont support the huns.. i support Celtic..but maybe its cos he doesnt drop players that are playing well for no * reason... doesnt * it against his big rivals... & doesnt stick with the zonal marking pish!!!

I dont think bringing in a new manager will make things better , the seasons up and running . Its lennons team. He brought the majority of them in .

Best time to judge lenny is in may . He'll either be hailed by the fans or collecting his p45 .

 

SORRY TO POST THIS BUT LENNON HAS TO GO, HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO SET UP A TEAM FOR A BIG GAME,some of his subs baffle the * out of me he is too inexperienced and that wont do, he had last season to learn now he just does not look as though he has a clue what to do and how to change a game, sorry but lennon has to go.

 

Listen lennon has had the * biggest honeymoon period ever it's time to get real the guy hasn't got it he's a legend of a player but how long do we give him ??

People waxing lyrical about Gordon Strachans time in charge need to dig out some dvds. Celtic, Champions 2012, the Glasgow celtic way.

Today was a sore one, (kelvin wilson culpable imo) and lenny bows to pressure to change the team for OF ties but I have every faith he will learn and we will go on and dominate domestically this season.

 

if he wins the league in may .. this match will be forgetten. We lost the first old firm game last season but manged to pump rangers 3-0 at cp later on .
