Im not having a go at your opinion or anything, i get that a lot of people dont like quick scoping, why do you not like it?

 

Quick scoping is simply the most annoying, noobiest, childish, thing ever. I * HATE it, ruins games.

 

Infinityward/Activision should take a break next year and totally revamp the game, maybe even with a new engine. It's just too similar to mw2 to justify me parting with 40 bucks.

No it doesn't. But people who run around constantly doing it do, especially when they think they are class, do . But whats wrong with quickscoping a runner if you dont have time to aim in fully at him?

 

I dont see how quick scoping can be classed as "noobish"....Its the only way I play, and have done since COD2, its harder than using any other gun, also takes more skill than spaying with a UMP, never understood it.

 

Folk will always be defensive of their games. It's human nature. Most believe it takes higher gaming skills to excel in battlefield than it does in call of duty when the reality is it doesn't.

COD doesn't promote teamplay in the same way BF does but it still takes a skillful player to dominate their respective game.

The comparisons should stop at the word 'shooter'

It is two entirely different games. I love BF always have and always will but i also love cod because it gives me a different rush than what BF does but i also love socom which is again different.

I like all the differing styles. I actually think most people who like shooters will at some point own both.

 

Finished the campaign in a oner, only took 5 and a half hours, great ending though. Not had the chance to play any multiplayer yet but looking forward to it.

Has anyone noticed that they've recycled buildings from COD4: Modern Warfare? There's a few YouTube videos on it, where they've lifted buildings from COD4 and put them straight into MW3.

 

It was one of if not the best selling game of all time, and was obviously hugely popular, no need to change it from a money making point of view. Cod is what it is, if you want to play a new game, get BF3.

Nothing wrong with that, but can be annoying when your playing against a party of 6 & they are all quickscoping, especially in S&D. Just takes the fun out of it imo

 

On the quick scoping thing.. I've tried it -i can't do it. I'm * with any kind of sniper riffle lol so it does take skill,albeit the game does 70% of the work!

As said before cod is for the casual,try do a quick scope in most other games and you will see that. That said -it's still * intense and that's all i care about.

Frustrating when you are killed by a sniper as good as you but i appreciate how hard it is to do so dont complain too much
