I take it you plan on driving through to Glasgow from Edinburgh for the St Mirren game. It's an easy drive but if you don't know the way and don't have GPS satnav then ask here for directions and the best place to park etc.

Parking in the city center of Glasgow is ok in the multi storey car parks and probably your safest bet.

You'll be able to get tickets on the day no problem. I'm sure if need be some of the Bhoys here could meet up with you and make sure you have a great day at Paradise.

Yes mate i am,thats the reason i mentioned this ,seeing that many people are giving you ideas.

Newcastle is a good city for a stop over and Newcastle to Edinburgh is around 114 mile you will get a sence of the east coast while you drive up the A1 the road is a great drive in summer and November's weather is going to be fine so will be ok and you can stop at the border nothing there mind but you will get some great photos with the flags and the coast line, great way to see England and Scotland in one day

edit..if you did that you could do Newcastle,Edinburgh east coast then over to Glasgow
west coast straight down the M74/M6 to Manchester/Liverpool that would be easier for you

You will get one outside the stadium on matchday for £5, or go to Timland in the Barras (Gallogate) and you'll get one in there, or go into a Celtic shop.:50:

You'll get millions outside mate :50:

Oh btw, don't park in the car park at Celtic Park, takes ages to get out. I'd recommend finding Duke Street and then find a space on one of the side streets off of it. It will be around a 15 minute walk from there.

You should be able to get tics for the St Mirren game if you go to Celtic ticket office any day before the game, or even on the saturday a couple hours before the match as it will not be fully sold out.

Go on CFC website to find directions to the ticket office and if you want to have a day visit in Glasgow as well as just seeing the football there is lots to do, tonnes of museums and attractions and things to do. I took a foreigner (sorry to just call you a foreigner lol) to the Science Centre before and looked around and went up the tower which has cool views if it's open, a lot of the time it is shut I don't know why!

But yeah Edinburgh is cool what with the Castle and everything but I think a lot of foreign tourists get told all about Edinburgh and then just think Glasgow is some place for poor drunk people :38:
It's not that at all, there's a lot of really great cultural and nice places in Glasgow - some not too far from Celtic Park as well.

You could take your wife to Parkhead to cheer on all the goals we score, then out to dinner at a posh restaurant in Merchant City (just about 20 mins away) after!

Get a scarf from the Celtic Superstore at the front of the stadium. They have about 10 different options. The Gary Hooper ones a nice one, theres also an Irish tri-colour scarf, the normal green and white bar, you'll never walk alone, I just cant get enough ones and that they usually cost £5-£7.

They also sell pink scarves if you want to treat the mrs to a suprise lol

While you're over here travel 10 minutes north into Fife - you'll cross the Forth Bridge (which is a must) into Gods own county.
