Mate, we have NINE centre backs already, two of whom have been brought in during this transfer window. The chance of us signing yet another is surely zero.

apparently Bangura is saying that he's is not on his way to Glasgow. He will go to sierra Leone to play for his national team.

on the other hand, his best friend Teteh Bangura said the same thing when he got the question, if he was on his way to Bursasport (and he's signed couple of days later) - they have the same agent.

 

Judging by that and the description in an earlier post about him he does seem like a good target. Quick, pacy, good movement as well. Seems that he would just need to work on his decisions and finishing. Would definitely be a much better option that Samaras anyway.

 

I doubt we wouldnt sign him on one bad performance, plus im sure he wasnt that into it if he was flying to have a medical with us tomz

Hate to see him go, even to Celtic - a club that will always have a place in my heart for reasons other than football.

However, if you do sign him I believe that you get a world of potential but maybe not, at least not at this stage if his career, the regular week in week out goal scorer that you seem to be looking for.

And the price tag being discussed is low in my opinion.

I also doubt that there will be any Rasmussen or Hooiveld thrown in to the deal. In the end, you can throw in whoever you like, but there are probably not too many players on your team willing to play for the kind of money AIK could offer.

 

Our guy haven't even confirmed that Celtic have placed a bid this time. But we will all know more tomorrow.

How much earlier was the other bid though, if it was last january then he is half a year further into his contract, and its possible the way the offer has been done is more beneficial to AIK, maybe more money up front rather than in installments and maybe a heft sell on clause as well.

You never know but 2.5M -3M euros is the most celtic will really pay.
