    *.....hes done this for years now....he invested heavily in shares, brought us lennoxtown, titles, uefa final, mon, strachan, TM and Lennon...He sanctioned all this and underwrote a share issue not so long ago.

    He is the major shareholder. Income was greater back then but due to constraints now that isnt possible.

    Tell me this isnt rocket science...:52:

    He has brought shares, not given money to the club, just like myself. How many shares he has is irrelevant, as he has something to show for his money. Barring a MAJOR catastrophe, he can get his money back. Lennoxtown was paid for by shares as well.

    In my opinion it wouldn't have taken major investment to put the huns to sleep for a long time, we had the chance to build on 3 in a-row and for some reason we held back and let them off the ropes.

    If we had spent a few bob we would have reaped the benifits, thats my opinion anyway.

    My thinking is they thought they could win the title on the cheap with the huns in such a mess and in the end it came back to bite them on the * and in the end it has cost us a lot of money(Champions League)

    As a result of reading tictalk I am now much more enlightened about Mr Desmond.

    He is a saintly man who gives huge amounts to charity. But for his generosity, Celtic fans would be watching a pub team on Glasgow Green instead of having the opportunity to watch world class players week in week out.

    The supporters who post on here are mostly deluded or demented. When we pass on the first thing we should expect to see is Dermot sitting in his rightful place on the right side of the Lord!

    Plenty? Ya right. A Fianna Fail gangster who looks after number 1. Trust me, this man is in Celtic to get a profit out of it. Hes been in cahoots with disgraced Fianna Fail politicians over here for land deals and the like(allegedly of course:rolleyes:).I wouldnt believe the radio in his car.
