I had a little argument with a fellow fan on saturday whilst leaving the stadium, i started to walk down the stairs a couple of seconds before ft whistle and i booed as i was angry and was disgraced by the performance, to then be told u shouldnt boo ur team, if u want to boo your team then go to other end of glasgow.

Then the ft whistle went and there were thousands of boos.

Just wondering what people think of booing.

In my opinion if i pay my money im entitled to my opinion and if im not happy with what is on the park and loosing to a team that is terrible then i can boo if i like and dont expect to get verbally attacked.

Just doesn't sit right with me. I wouldn't critisise another fan for doing it unduly because that was a disgrace on Sunday but I really just couldn't bring myself to condone it or do it myself.

    Just don't think that's supporting.

I've never started booing the team myself but i don't have a problem with others doing it when they've got a reason such as the last match

It's one of them things, there's two sides to it.

    For

"I've paid my money to watch my team, I'm not happy with what I've seen and I want to let the team know I won't accept it, if at work I'm not performing well I get told so why shouldn't it be the same for footballers? Hopefully this will fire them up to come out all guns blazing and to let them know they must up their game"

    Against

"It's not going to help at all, just going to further crush the morale and have a negative impact on the players already low on confidence, not something I expect a Celtic fan to do"

Personally, I think fans should be entilted to voice their views at the game.

In my eyes its a way of letting off steam and getting out the anger of watching that disgrace of a team. After all paying the money we do as fans in order to follow our team i think we should have a decent standard of football to watch

when u support a team you must be able to accept defeat, as it will come because anything can happen and generally does in football .
i much prefer constructive criticism as opposed to destructive , but you pay yer hard earned you have every right to say your not happy with the product .

They are quick enough to accept clapping for doing well.

They must accept derision for producing *.

Never liked it, never done it, and never will, it achieves nothing other than letting our enemies get a kick out of it.

One of the perks of modern football, people are looking at attending games as paying money, not as privilege of supporting and watching the team.

Not criticising anyone, don't really have any right to do so anyway, but I don't like booing at all. Only on rare occasions it's acceptable. And only thing worse than booing is throwing scarves on the pitch, I find it absolutely disgusting.

I am fine with it and do it as some one said it's letting off steam i only do it when the team deserve it and on Sat they did 100% .

I know you pay your money to go travel and watch them but it should never happen. Booing them won't help, it will let them know your not happy but they'll already know that from the result. That's my opinion just, others think it's right to boo but I don't. I'd rather hear "We are Celtic supporters faithful through and through" being sung at the end but people are entitled to their way of it.

I am a Celtic supporter & will always be faithful to them till the end of time... booing them is a natural reaction.. i did it yesterday & i dont regret it.. i travelled hundreds of miles..paid a fortune ... & i know im not the only one... & ill back my team to the hilt for the full 90 minutes but when i see such a lacklustre attitiude & performance as yesterday i WILL boo them .. they need to know how hurt and let down we are with that performance... i dont agree with booing select players during matches... but at the full time whistle then its ok to let the team know how * off you, are in my book!

I'm not really into it but I think on this occasion it is good to let the board know we are not happy as things stand. What other way can we as supporters voice our disgust? We have been crying out for a tall striker who is an aerial threat but we've only spent 900K on potential so far!

Travelling 300 miles for the game and spending a small fortune aye i think i am pretty entitled to boo the last time i did it was at Inverness the fact we had lost the league and i had lost my job because i went to the game.

But aye poor wee payed in therethousands souls must be heartbroken for getting booed.
