disgraceful today, the thing that got to me was the sight of our players tippy tapping the ball about in the 88th minute when some * urgency was needed.

i’m not one for knee * reactions and i think folk suggesting lennon doesn’t have a clue need their heads checked; that said, it is his team and the buck stops with him but when you haven’t the resources to improve the squad (which we all knew was needed) and have to persist playing the likes of desperate dan, then these kind of sucker punch results happen. of course, that team should have been able to beat st johnstone anyway, and in mitigation any team is going to miss its best three players and arguably our best CB.

Commons was awful, needs benched for a couple games, give young forrest a run in the team.

it’s a disgrace that we all knew all summer long (as i’m sure the manager did) where we needed improving yet the board have utterly failed to back the manager; now (if we even bother) we face a mad dash to get players in before the window shuts at probably inflated prices (even for loans); a shambolic state of affairs.

big wake up call for celtic.

That annoyed me to, at that time we needed to be more direct, but then again it comes back to not having a big man up front to throw the ball up to.

Majstorovic went up for the last couple of minutes, but we seriously need more variety in our play and that doesn't include Majstorovic being our target man for the final minutes.

It looked like they had just accepted that they weren't going to score, * me off.

That is one of the most worrying things, I fully expect St. Johnstone to be relegated this season.

We are going to have our bad days and we won't win every game, but there was more to that today than just having a bad day, there seemed to be a lack of commitment which should never be the case.

301 guests browsing the forum. I guess we must have some smelly Huns having a wee nosey at our post mortem.

NEIL LENNON WILL BE LIFTING THE SPL TROPHY AT THE END OF THE SEASON AND IT'S REALLY, REALLY GOING TO HURT YOU TO SEE IT. :bbpd:

It's getting really scary and disgusting the lack of quality we have in the squad now, I really fear any further injuries. If Hooper and Stokes get injured bad we're screwed. Get the cheque book out board we can't wait until January, it could be too late by then.

I totally agree, * if one of them get injured we've no goals!

i mean look at us, we were playing well at start! And we lose two key players izzy and kayal and it seems we cant play without them We need to buy in some quality, hopefully the board will look at the last two games n realise this. Although im not overly worried its two bad games. Lets hope the team get their fingers out n start playing again.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who regularly browses Rangers' Media for a laugh after a Huns defeat so there's a good chance that a fair amount of the unregistered lurkers are Huns.

As far as I am concerned we need three players or the league, Europe and the game is a bogey for Lennon and us.

We need a tall pacy striker =Someone like Stephen Fletcher
We need a hard as fucken nails centre back who is athletic = Solvi Ottesen
We need a creative and dangerous winger =David Templeton.

Would cost us a bomb, but it is about time we spent big.

Did he play today? Before today I'd heard he'd be due back soon.

When Tommy Burns took over he got plenty of money to spend, got in some great players and ended a 5 season trophy drought. Every manager since then has been given money to build their own team so it's really bugging me that Neil's not getting a decent transfer kitty to spend. The Huns boast about Smith doing 3 in a row with his hands tied. The only manager who's had has hands tied is Lennon...:54:

This is false. Templeton is not going to be better than any winger we have. Fletcher? Nah, I'd rather Maierhofer.
