is it just me that thinks joe ledley does a great job for the team

Ledley had a good game. cha was my motm. brown should have been hooked imo. i think he wears slippers, he had so many under-hit passes. thought he was crap tonight.

 

I thought ledley was rather good tonight himself and Cha gave me some hope from the deep depression I was falling into watching that donkey Samaras :icon_mrgreen:

Thought he was as poor as he's been for a while tonight.

 

i thought he was as great as he could be with the pish around him

cha, ledley and ki were our best players

 

Ball got knocked by him on his right side a few times and he was fukd,he couldnt even stick his right foot out to block it. Ithink he is a bit slow and cumbersome

 

To be fair I doubt the strange choice of midfield helped him but he did not do that much of use. Agree with Cha and Ledley. Ledley is a shoe in for us imo.

 

Ki was good first half, faded second but

 

ledley should be used in the middle

if lennys going to use 4-5-1, do it properly with all the midfielders we've got instead of playing a striker in midfield or on the wing, he could have used brown - ledley - ki and commons on the left and forrest on the right

 

That would be my first choice midfield in a four, at least in most games in the SPL, and European ones like tonight.

Still don't know what people see in Ledley. All the players worked hard and were all off their game including JL.

 

Think he has made more of an impact since Izzy got injured and he doesnt have to cover for him. Having 4 very different players who can all play CM is a good thing. Over the season they will all be needed.

 

Personally I would always have Joe ahead of him, and I think that Ki (not tonight) has done well enough to keep his place. I know not too many would agree, and I do like him as well, but he cant go left or right. So until Ki's form dips, he has to fight for his place.

 

What's Brown got to do with this? Do you know he played the whole 2nd half injured btw?

Ledley had a few tonight unfortunately just like the rest of them. Nobody can ever tell me what this guys does apart from work hard.

i would pick kayal over ledley, although i do think ledley is the more tidier with possession and him and ki are the best partnership in the middle. But kayal's better than them all

 

Not in comparison to the rest he didn't. He is a very consistent performer, gets forward, never lets his head drop, rarely loses his discipline, scores goals, and tracks back. Brown shouts a lot.

 

Also the best reader of the game with the best positioning sense.
