when have i ever criticised McCourt when he hasn't been on the pitch? i would say i don't want him starting in front of others. how could i criticise his performance?

if those eight players, whom you haven't named so i haven't a clue who you're talking about, have performed on the pitch, why should they be dropped for anyone?

Lennon does need him, i've never said different. all i've said is that he shouldn't start that often.

Any player who is 3 years at celtic and hasn't made it as a first team regular should ply his trade elswhere. There is no point keeping a player who will never be considered a first choice. Paddy has had plenty time to break into the starting 11 and hasn't achieved that, so it's time to go.

Someone stated he was a genius. Can I remind them that we haven't won the title in 3 years. There are no geniuses at celtic park at the moment. If there was we wouldn't be in this position. A genius would be a player who could single handedly turn a game. We don't have one. We have a few very good players, but genius. No!

 

I'd rather not sell Paddy. A unique and very useful player to us.

 

I understand where your coming from but we need players on the bench that are pressing for a starting place. Paddy isn't doing that.

 

He is, especially when Commons hasn't started the season as well as I would have hoped. I hope this NT performance assures Lennon of what can Paddy do.

 

Leone, he's been 3 years at the club and played under 3 managers and never has he been first choice. No reason why he will be this season. But your entitled to your opinion.

 

McCourt won us a good few games last season. He plays an important part when he comes on.

 

What games? st mirren, Caley? C'mon guys that not the greatest opposition now is it.

He's never scored against Davie Weir and he's a pensioner. Paddy's a nice guy but not that great. Give someone else that spot on the bench and see if they can break into the team.

 

The managers haven't been convinced he can play for longer periods. He can now. No reason to keep Paddy out.

 

If that's the case it show absolute lack of commitment and should get kicked out for cheating the fans. 3 managers can't all be wrong.

 

I believe his fitness has improved over years. I believe he deserves a status like Ki- direct competition to someone, with sizable playing time guaranteed, depending on opposition.

a lot of players have been hounded out of Celtic Park for a lot less. he's never going to push our strongest XI. he's a bench player. i'm unsure if he should leave though as he's a great impact sub. he should stay really until we find someone who will push other players for a starting spot. as we're only going for a keeper and striker, i don't mind him staying until next season.

lol is he a genius? i doubt it. he hasn't featured regularly and pulled us to the title. comparisons to Messi and Best are laughable.
