Yes I would be happy with Zaluska as our first choice but with a decent backup on the bench. I think he will have gained a lot of confidence from the Aberdeen game. People are saying he is * but this guy was top class at Dundee United. He couldn't have suddenly got *. Hopefully Lenny has confidence in him

are Celtic really wanting a goalie, if they are every team in the world will know buy now, and the prices have already gone up, this is going to happen again if we intend to go for a striker, why cant they just do a deal,, ask a club is he for sale end of, the daily rag will milk us if they know we are looking for a goalie and will put teams wise, as to how much money we have available most times. a goalie ain't my worry
its a guy that can put the ball in the net for me.

 

Cervi is rubbish, Zaluska is OK But I'd prefer a better keeper, I like Zaluska and he would be good as Number 1 but we need another backup keeper Cervi is pish!

I think we need a new keeper - Zaluksa makes to many bad mistakes for me. Do we know how much Newcastle want for Forster?

 

He only played in one and a half did he not? And the game he came on as a sub he conceded (all be it a penalty).

He has made one mistake, Boruc made many so why didn't you slate him?!

And Forster made many mistakes last season too....

Yes he's made a few mistakes but lack of games and constant moral crushing from both the fans and the club stating they want a new keeper has to hinder his progress. I think he deserves a crack of the whip. We do need a backup though Vernon Kay isnt good enough by a long way off.

 

I'm really not sure, Zaluska was great at Dundee UTD so we know he is capable, and with each of the 2 SPL games he's played so far I've felt a little better about the fact that we haven't signed a new keeper yet. He's looked commanding, dealt well with crosses, including making some rather difficult catches, made decent saves when called upon and his distribution has been first class. I would still feel happier if we signed a new keeper, but I won't be as worried as many people on here seem to be if we don't. Who knows, maybe an extended run in the team is just what is needed to unleash his potential.

 

I think its his decision making that lets him down actually.

 

No sir you'd have to be off your nut to think he's ready to be #1. He's shakier than a belly dancer on amphetamines between the sticks. I hope to * we get another keeper fast.

Sorry for him, but he's simply not up for the task.

There are quite a few better keepers on the market than Zaluska and I expect us to sign a new one.

 

I really like Zaluska and I think he would be a good number 1 for Celtic. Let's face it, near enough every Celtic fan was happy when he signed him because he was not far off Boruc's level from what I saw anyway Now people think he's suddenly lost his ability now that he's at Celtic?

Yes he's had a few bad games, but two clean sheets so far in the league including a couple of good saves against Aberdeen

IF we sign Sandomierski or whoever, they have to bide their time unless Zaluska goes on a bad run

He could be good enough. But to help him improve and learn to make the most of his opportunity we need another GK for competition.

Cervi is quite poor, if we don't have an young up-and-coming keeper who isn't already better than him then i have little faith in our youth system.

 

I think he is a good goalie but he has nerves at times. Maybe when he is used to playing in front of massive crowds and the pressure he will do very well. I think playing the odd game every couple of months did him harm. I think now we probably should stick to him until Xmas. Maybe try and get Gordon in then if we can get him for a sensible price for a guy late in his contract.
