Zaluska for Number 1!!

    I believe that Zaluska is good enough to be our number 1.

    His confidence has been beaten and battered by all this speculation surrounding celtics campaign to sign a new number 1. I think that once he has a few games under his belt, makes a few good saves and gets his confidence back he could be great for us.

    We are wasting our money on a new goalie who isn't worth the 2m we could be paying to get him and would be better off investing the money where its needed most; upfront.

    However, this is just my opinion and I would like to know what others think...

    We need a new keeper incase Zaluska gets injured, Cervi is awful.

    Dreading the thought of Zaluska playing vs Sion. He may be decent for SPL, but we definitely need a new keeper.

    st mirren under mowbray, inter milan in dublin and various other games, has proved to me at least, that he's simply not good enough.

    How can you say his confidence has been affected - it could make him more determined.

    Do you know Sandomierski and have you seen him play regularly?

    As noted this is your opinion, just trying to ascertain if this is informed one...

    For me though, new GK needed! Granted Zaluska has kept 2 clean sheets in the spl, which is when it counts, but has he really been tested yet?

    For me he hasn't and I'm not confident of keeping clean sheets when he is properly tested!

    Let's face it both our current keepers are not up to standard, there is at least four current keepers in the SPL which are better than what we have, unfortunately the Huns have two of them.

    Such an important position needs to be resolved quickly, if Neil believes this young Polish guy is good enough let's spend the £2 mil now and get it sorted.

    Obviously if your manager comes out repeatedly saying hes looking for a new goalkeeper it shows that he has no confidence in you playing there and that in turn would make you lose confidence in yourself.

    Also I dont think Zaluska has had a long enough run of games for everyone to make a proper juadgement on him. Think hes played something like 14 games over 2 years which is nothing.

    Have you seen Sandomierski play? People think hes good cos one one youtube video. Anyone can make a player look class on youtube. Samaras has a video on youtube where hes made to look like * or something. If we sign him we wont know how good he really is until he plays. Kinda like Juarez if you get what I mean.

    I do see where your coming from tho, and again, this is just my opinion.

    We do need a new keeper in case he gets injured as Cervi is * awful, but I do believe he is good enough to be our number one.

    Yeah, we need a back-up keeper at least. I quite like the Motherwell goalie. He'd be a reasonably cheap option.

    Now that we desperately need a Left Back, Striker and CD we might have to leave the big money keeper buy.

    I have every confidence in Lucasz Zaluska as our No.1 goalie.
    He has 2 cleans sheets already this year, on top of his 3 shut outs against Rangers last year.
