Just as Chelsea fans are down about the sacking of another manager and getting gubbed aagin they get another kicking when they are on the deck with the news Ramires has signed a new 5 year contract.

:56:Only Chelsea can sack a gaffer then give a player a 5 year * deal.

If given the choice would you rather celtic were out both domestic cups but still in the europa league where like liverpool you would be unlikely to win it?

Yes,give me European football over a shitpot League cup anyday.

Is this Liverpools new Philosophy ? Unlikely to win,so don't bother.

I guess you would prefer Liverpool to not waste their time by competing in the Premiership next year.

Harsh but true:54:. Celtic are used to winning trophies. The carling cup was our first trophy in 5 years.

You would be a far more attractive prospect to top players if you were in the CL league though, overtime if you manage to stay in it and become established again then you can look towards winning it. The Fa and carling cup just arent strong selling points for a top quality player whos main ambition should playing at the highest level in europe, the CL. Celtics main selling point will always be the fact were in europe every year.

Not according to the bookies you arent...ALL fixtures are tough...even against the relegation threatened sides ;) When you played us at Eastlands we gave you a lesson in football in the second half and a defeat felt like a victory...cant see you being 3-0 up at half time this time...im sure its been said before but ..we welcome the chase :50:

If you think this set of players dont have more experience at winning leagues than Smalling, Cleverly etc then you really need to look again

oh yeah Citeh had a 'moral victory' in that game whatever that means, fact is United won 3-2

We welcome the chase is a bit of a hun quote but whatever floats your boat

Smalling won the league last year so you * up there by trying to pick a young player. Looking at the Citeh squad, not as many league winners as United so again your point is invalid as usual

Gutted to see AVB sacked, I hate Chelsea with a passion and it's great seeing them do so * recently. A new manager might change that :31:

lol...which part of this post should i debunk first?...hmmm

First of all I have NEVER heard a city fan, player or member of staff call that a 'moral victory' Its all press generated bullshit...if you choose to believe it thats up to you. The facts are if we hadnt had Kompany sent off in that match for an absolutely shocking refereeing decision we would have won the game...and by some margin too.

The reason why I chose Smalling is the post I was replying attempted the ludicrous argument that the rags have more experience in their team than City...Please dont make me list the achievements of Silva, De Jong, The Toures, Pizarro, etc...it could get very embarrassing indeed. Smalling played a bit part in the title last year...is this the experience were supposed to be running scared of? * up? errr...dont think so...Maybe you should think before you post or at least read the thread for context...wrong as usual?....lol...I think Im right in saying were in pole position and no matter how you as fans try to convince yourselves or your pathetic 'press bombs' from players try to psyche us out (pmsl) were still there to be caught. I'll say it again....We welcome the chase...but since youre a sensitive little soul I'll redress the balance a little by saying 'W havent gone away you know'

"Defeat felt like a win" like you said or " It was a moral victory" like richards and kompany said, you would never hear a Manchester United player come out with that tripe, it wouldve been understandable if you managed to level it and go on to win the tie but you didnt. You dont get points or trophies for moral victories, Its a small club mentality. Whilst i think city are still favourites because they have a stronger squad and are 2 points clear Man United have Fergie at the helm and anything is possible with him driving them on, the fact utd are still in the title race after being injury ravished for a couple months speaks volumes.

Of course it felt like a win...we ripped the rags a new one in the second half despite being down to 10 men....they were praying for the final whistle.

United players dont come out with what??? :56::56::56:
Yeah...you read any of the granny shaggers or camel gobs tweets recently?

'Press generated bullshit' that was tweeted by at least 2 Citeh players after the FA Cup game

Vincent Kompany ‏ @VincentKompany Reply Retweet Favorite · Open
The fans, the players and every single person involved with Man City FC were incredible today. Definitely the moral winners of this game.

I'm pretty sure Richards said something similar

It's not a fact that IF Kompany hadn't been sent off then Citeh would have won, that's opinion. The difference between fact and opinion is quite clear

Bring all the Citeh players you want into it and their person achievements. Silva and Yaya Toure have good records but the rest don't compare to United players. If you want to talk embarrassing then I'll post the personal honours of Giggs, Scholes, Ferdinand or Rooney to name 4

Whatever the * press bombs are then Mancini tried to psyche United out as you put it by saying that we would win at Spurs, we did and now we have a good run of games

I don't even know what the rest of your post is talking about, you're Butch mark 2

I still think, and hope that United win the title again this season. Really can't stand City.

As for that moral victory pish, I would be embarrassed if Broony came out with that * if we were beaten by Rangers :56:

So Im supposed to believe that the level of experience in competition the rags players have achieved surpasses that of World cup winners/runners up/ CL winners not to mention various league titles and cup wins around Europe?...yeah ok...keep comforting yourself with that. City players have no experience in major competitions :56:

The 'press bombs' are your cringeworthy attempts to destabilise City in the media by sending every dumb * they can find to the press evey other day and spout * about how we should be feeling the pressure and ready to implode 'coz they are fik and dun ave the xperrence innit' :56:

As for VK he implied we were moral winners of a game where he was cheated...quite different that fools twisting it around and saying we claim the result was a success because of a 'Moral Victory' that would be stupid...and VK doesnt do stupid :50:

I actually give up debating with someone so stupid, someone who reads a post in which I clearly state something yet you respond saying I stated the opposite :97: You can't keep debating with someone like that, you'll get nowhere

At least the Liverpool fans on here can give praise to other teams, criticize their own team and have a proper debate

Goodnight Kippax, enjoy thinking the world is against you and your team :bbpd:

Wonder if O'l whiskey nose thinks like that...I bet he sees it even if you cant. We had the rags * themselves in that game. It was plain for all to see.
