Well I was a bit shocked by Sporting Lissabon. I thought they were a club like Celtic. But maybe it's just the shirt.

Not at al it's very accurate. But it does not have all the right and left wing clubs in the world on it that's for sure. Like a said it's a general indication because football clubs are not political institutions therefore no club is completly left or right.

I'd be willing to place money on every single one of those left wing clubs having a few supporters who are aligned to the right and vice versa.

It doesn't represent every single supporter, just the ultras and casuals and what have you.. kinda silly.

I'm suprised Birmingham aint on there, seeing as they call themselves Zulu and have alot of black members.

Also I think PSG can be on either side, cause they have two ultras groups with different political views, theres a video of them fighting on youtube somewhere.

    Fair enough, that's true.

But just the list is without explanations and missing out some obvious examples, but including Impact de Montreal...

And as said, clubs can have groups of fans with both left and right leaning, Barca had that fascist group that threw bananas at players, flying Swastika flags etc.

I can confirm that Hapoel are hated in Israel.I was at the game against them in Tel Aviv, and on the morning of the match, four of us got a taxi to Jerusalem to do some sightseeing.I had the hoops top on and israelis kept coming up to me and saying they wanted to see us hammering Hapoel as they hated them, and their comments were very venomous. Also while in Jerusalem me and my mate bought "Free Palestine" T shirts and wore them at the match that night behind the goal.Icouldnt believe it when 2 Glasgow cops came up to us and "asked" us to take our shirts off.We refused to do so,then the next thing a soldier came up to us and pointed a machine gun right at us and ordered us to cover up or else.
The Hapoel fans were next to us,divided by a fence and there was one * with a huns top on goading the hoops fans and cursing us upside down.We asked the security forces to move him away but they ignored us. When we were leaving the ground at the end one of our mob belted the hun a cracker and it was all about to kick off until the army * drew their guns on us and separated our fans from theirs.Just as well I think !

I watched a documentary on the Birmingham Zulus a while back and this black bloke was being interviewd and he was asked how the Zulus came about and he said it was a mixture of Blacks and Irish mixed together who had been disriminated against so they started there own mob.

What has this got to do with supporting Celtic. Since when did we restrict anyone from supporting us. Now, using your parameters, we can only support left wing teams.

I find this along with some other stupid replies about other countries' teams totally repugnant. Without any grasp of the political makeup of any club or country we have certain people breaking them in to good or bad.

Franco has been dead 35 years and Spain has moved a different planet away and yet we endure the nonsensical Madrid fascists, total rubbish.

I'm just waiting for the classic, don't mention the war, German team, oh aye they are Nazis. Oh the mentality of some foolish people who couldn't even grasp the fact that the Nazis were never a majority but hey when it comes to politics let's spin a yarn.

You talk about similarities yet you pontificate in the exact same manner as those in the caves of Govan with their divisive and bigoted agendas. Telling others who they should support and who they should not, does that not remind you of another side of Glasgow, you tell us to support one side regardless, does that not remind you of another side of Glasgow.

Celtic is a football team not some left wing ideological bus for someone to hijack in the manner you attempt to do so.

    CELTIC IS FOOTBALL NOT POLITICS

    TALK CELTIC.........TALK FOOTBALL

Funny that...the army don't police football matches. That would be the remit of the Police Force.

Oh and don't believe for a minute they had guns drawn...not a chance.

Naw surely no a supporter wearing a hun shirt to annoy Celtic supporters, * that must be the first time since well aboot half an hour ago. It is the same the whole world over. Didn't those nasty Barcas not antagonise our govan friends with Celtic gear hanging from every nook and cranny, or mibbee's it's ok for them to be goaded but not us. Ah'm sure the Israeli army, one of the best trained in the world, would just have lifted their guns and aimed at a few tic supporters singing. Methinks the word EMBELLISHMENT springs to mind.

The Nazis did have a majority actually during the Weimar Republic years.

I do agree with some of your post, however, Celtic, whether you like it or not, will always be associated with Irish Nationalism, and leftist politics. Key phrase here- whether you like it or not. I am not saying whether I agree it should be, but in this case, it is inevitable.

I for one am proud of our politically minded fan base. Its nothing to be ashamed of, in fact its part of what makes us special.
