My only concern is that we are holding off to see what the manky mob do transfer wise and that will dictate how much Lennon gets to spend.

    I'm not mate.

I can see that Lennon is a motivational leader. This has been proved with the way he got performances last season from players such as Mark Wilson, Scott Brown, Charlie Mulgrew etc.

I'm sure he will get the best out of Samantha, and possibly Zaluska.

If we have not signed a GK, I will be confident that Lennon has not found another better for value than the Holy Poly mark two.:50:

hopefully , i find it unbelievable that in two seasons weve only spent 1.5 million on the defence and thats on izzy and wanyama. we always seem to try and go down the free transfer route when it comes to defenders, Dan , mulgrew and rodney are all at the same average level i hope wilson and wanyama prove to be better.

Mate, I totally disagree on this, motivation in individual ability doesn't make them better it will only make them be more determind, with Samanthas ability..... well does she have ability? shes that bad mate!

We need these signings asap mate.

Derren Brown couldnt get the best of Samaras. I would be really worried if we had to rely on Samaras again this season. I also dont have any confidence in Zaluska, neither does Lennon if he is testing out a keeper from the Tundra.

Agree that Lennon is a great motivator, or good man manager.

If you don't think Samaras has ability what games have you been watching? He has more than most in our team, problem is he doesn't show it enough.

look, hes scored about 3 goals in last season and watching him at parkhead week in week out with that rate is a disgrice to the celtic jersey.

He cant control a hard-on never mind a ball, he hasn't got any flair, he hasn't got intelligence and most of all hasn't got any clue where he is never mind who he is.

    get him tae :bbpd:

stop following the "two goals at mordor" crew, hes pish.

Have you seen him play? He has hardly kicked a ball in 2 seasons.

We all know that Samaras has the ability, he has shown it (albeit in small doses:rolleyes:)......

Brown has been gash in his career up until Lennon came in....just had his best season.

Mark Wilson - nothing more than a squad player to mainstay in the first team - even scoring his first ever GOALS for Celtic:50:

Yeah, but the guy has nearly 90 caps with Croatia and is only 32. A good time for a GK. Admittedly, I've only seen him a few times, though, so he may have declined.

His credentials look good, so why we taking him on trial? Dont think a week can tell us much to be honest. Not sure if his contract is up at Spartak so he may be a cheap option. But whether a good one I dont know. Very rarely do we take players on trial and they work out.

The last succesful trialist I remember was Stan Varga:50:

Exact same thing happening here. A player who has been identified as a potential no.1, who hasn't played that much in the last couple of seasons - bring him in for a week - get a feel of him (not like that Jamie:56:), and see if you still like the look of him.......a good thing to do if you can, rather than just splash out cash:50:

Maybe we're concerned he's not in a healthy state for full-time football anymore and are inspecting his fitness and reactions, etc.
