I disagree, I think Rogne is too injury prone to be a serious contender for either centre back spot, and he got absolutely rogered by Jelavic in the CS Cup Final.

I think this is in the wrong section.

would say hes been getting enough playing time, he got injured last season and thats probably a factor in jelavic outplaying him

    valued but not under-valued imo

Was doing well up till he got injured. I think Lennon does rate him, considering he rushed him back into the League Cup final ahead of Loovens. Even though he was clearly unfit.

Is going to develop into a good centre back.

He's got ability, my main concern would be the amount of time he's spent out injured.

I like Thomas Rogne and I would agree that he is under-valued although I wouldn't go as far as to say heavily under-valued.

Leaving Kelvin Wilson aside, because I haven't seen him play yet, I would go as far as to say..........if all our centre-backs were in peak form, Thomas Rogne is the best centre-back that Celtic have. He lacks pace but I think he has most of the other attributes you'd look for in a centre-back.

Have to agree. When he was playing at the back with Maj, prior to his injury, he was in great form and showing real maturity.

Im hoping Kelvin Wilson is going to be the solid CB we have been looking for, but a partnership with Rogne would be good to see.

Injury will be the only thing stopping him doing well imo!
I haven't seen such a good Centre-Half performance for us since the Johan and Bobo days when we beat the Huns 2-0 at Mordor in January!

We have a great defensive record when Rogne plays.

In his 24 appearances we've only conceded 6 goals with him on the park :notworthy:notworthy:notworthy
(and one of them was the offside Hamilton goal)

He has also never been booked in 24 games, with only 1 red card to his name.

Its worrying that he has been injured so much though, he only manages a run of 10 games before he misses a few.

He's had 1851 minutes in total of playing time for us with 6 conceded in that time. So on average with Rogne playing we concede a goal every 308.5 minutes or 3.43 matches

Really good stats there, Personally I like Rogne but Wouldn't say he's under-valued because I think we can see Lenny does Rate him by obviously rushing him back too early instead of playing Glenda.
If we can get his injuries behind him I think he could have a role to play beside big Maj or Hopefully Wilson (if he's the Cb we're been looking for).

Can see Rogne being one of the main stays at the Cb spot for a while if he stays clear of injury.

I agree Rogne and Dan were excellent that day. Thought the boy got a bit of a using by Lennon in the Cup Final. Was not fit and should have been pulled at half time. If he stays fit he can become a first pick for me,given the form he showed before he got injured.

no mad rush for the guy is there? he is only 19-20! so plenty of time for him and he does have very good attributes for a young defender.

He's got the ability imo and he is still very young, as long as he can stay injury free i think he'll do well if he gets in the side.

I disagree. injury kept him out for spells last season and then of course mulgrew came in and took his chance, nothing to do with lennon thinking he aint good enough imo.
And anytime ive spoken about him to other fans theyve always rated him highly, some supporters think think hes better than maj.

I think hes a good young CB with potential, only criticism id have is his that hes slow but thats common with centre backs.

Still outrageously young for a top level centre-back. If he can keep in and about the team until he's 25+ then he'll maybe develop into something extra special.

Shame about the injury record too.
