Forster would be a great no. 2. I know Gordon is injury prone but when fit he is a magnificent goalie, several levels ahead of Forster...and this is not bias because he is a Scotland goalie.

Dunno why folk want us to entertain the notion of signing this crock on big wages.

Can't think of much more situations where some fans would be clamouring for us to waste a large chunk of money for someone who has been up there with Shaun Maloney in the injury stakes recently.

Maybe because he's Scottish, I dunno.

In what way is signing a world class goal-keeper a waste of money ?

The guy is now fit and is over his injuries.

Getting Craig Gordon would be an excellent piece of buisness.

Would rather we stuck with Forster at the moment and put the money Gordon would cost into other areas.

If and its maybe a big if he could stay fit,it would be a fantastic acquisition.World class keeper who Forster could learn a lot from.Imagine a fit Graig Gordan in Europe next year, add a top class striker and we're cooking by gas.

Its not as though he has some recurring chronic injury. He broke an arm twice and then a knee injury. Its just been bad luck.

How am I settling for mediocrity?

I clearly said we should strengthen in other areas.

Forster has been excellent for the last 6 weeks. Why buy another keeper when he's came onto a game? This isn't 2006 - Gordon is not the same player he was, 2nd choice at Sunderland even when he was fit sometimes.

Spot on Gaze. Forster has been great recently no reason to replace him.

Cant beleive people on here who would drop FF for him! Forster has been brilliant and Gordon hardly set the prem on fire tbh. People calling him a World Class Keeper is a bit ott.
