Sammy to be named captain

A good touch for the Greek community in Australia, think Samaras would be a decent captain as well, after all, he is one of the players that's been a Celtic the longest, after Wilson and Brown.

Not a bad move... Had a poor season re goals, but he's a straight guy, grafter... i don't mind him having a go with the arm band at all...

 

Think he has the respect of the squad as well, for example, how happy were the players when he scored in the 4-0 game against Motherwell!

as frustrating as he is, i find it very hard to dislike Sammy (crazy i know)

 

Good for Sammy & good for the Club - in regards to increeasing Greek/Aussie fans.

I think Sammy "could be" an excellent striker, he just needs to learn from his mistakes & lose the bad habits.

But he seems immune to any coaching & consistently runs into dead alleys & doesn't play the simple ball at the right time.

Lets hope he can go on to have a good season, or if not - get rid of him once & for all.

Captain for one friendly, because there's a large greek community in the city, and people still have to come in and have a dig at him, get a grip.

 

Don't care as it's a friendly, But for a competitive matches then it's a no no as he shoulden't be playing them anyway.

 

Met him today, he's a liakable guy..

gives off the 'jesus' vibe though. pretty cool

he's a frustrating player to watch, but hey it's a chance for him to prove our doubts about him wrong.
