Interesting read as I don't see him featuring much this season.

I think he's happy with a squad place under Lennon but the way he was before then, a reserve he wasn't.

Nowhere good enough to start regularly.

If he could play at the level he's capable of all the time then there's no doubt he could start but he's far too inconsistent.

I like the way he is just now, he was worth 9 points on his own last season. That is worth a * of a lot.

He's best as an impact sub, when defenders are getting tired he can cause damage. Don't think he's consistent enough to start every week.

Paddy would be mad to leave Celtic, he doesn't even play that regularly and yet is adored by many of the supporters. He sure as * won't get that anywhere else.

A great impact sub but he goes missing too often when he starts and I would much rather have Commons on the left. Can understand if he doesn't want to be a sub but he's been too inconsistent and unfit during his time with us.

A good interview from Paddy, refreshing to see someone not content to sit on the bench and collect a wage! Hope he keeps pushing for a place and makes it difficult to leave him out.

He had a stint of games where he played for full 90 minutes in this past season. If we can get him to be that fit, or fitter, he's a must in the first 11. One wing Commons, the other McCourt.

Much as I like Paddy and admire his undoubted talent I cant see him getting a regular game in the team and he may even struggle to get on the bench this season

looks like he'll be leaving then. nowhere near good enough to cement a first team place.

The problem with McCourt is that he is injured too much and by the time he's fit and ready for contention again, someone has stepped up their game and took his place. Last season, it was Kris Commons. He can't honestly expect to retain a first team place when he's hardly ever fit.

I love the Derry Pele, as do most other Celtic supporters I know, but it looks like his time here is coming to an end. I'll be surprised if he isn't part of the deadwood that Lenny is talking about getting rid of before the summer transfer window closes.

i love the guy but id rather he played of the strikers then on the wings, i feel he would be more effective in the middle of the action rather then left out on the wings waiting for it to come to him

He should be playing more, he clearly deserves it, he's a brilliant player and scores goals, that's what were looking for.

There's nothing wrong with his fitness anymore, commons put him out if the first team.
