I thought he was goin to hibs or something, duno why he'd want to be back up here.

Maybe this mean Marshalls deal will be permanent in the summer.

    BROWN STUNNED BY CELTIC APPROACH

Inverness goalkeeper Mark Brown believed he was the victim of a wind-up when
he was told Celtic were trying to sign him.
Brown should complete a dream move to Celtic today after Caley Thistle
accepted an offer from the Scottish champions.
The 25-year-old former Rangers player, whose Inverness contract was due to
expire this summer, had been linked with Falkirk.
However Inverness have now agreed terms for his transfer with the Bank of
    Scotland Premier League leaders.
    Inverness director of football Graeme Bennett said: ``We anticipate no snags;
a six-figure fee has been agreed.
``Mark thought I was joking when I told him Celtic were after him. But he's
    thrilled at the chance.
``He's been superb for us but it is good business to accept a decent fee now
rather than lose him for nothing in May.''
Inverness manager Charlie Christie will give long-term understudy Michael
Fraser the chance to replace Mark Brown.
``Michael did well at Celtic a couple of months ago and he's a very good
`keeper, who has worked with Mark for four years,'' said Christie.
``He'll play against Hibs on Sunday and he'll get his chance.
``But that leaves us a keeper short and we're looking around to bring one
    in.''
Celtic last night allowed David Marshall to join Norwich on loan until the end
    of the season.
The 21-year-old, who has been capped twice by Scotland, had found his route to
the Parkhead first team blocked by Poland international Artur Boruc and his
prospects will not be improved by Brown's arrival.
**WHY ARE WE TRYING TO SIGN ALL THESE DUD'S ALL OF A SUDDEN??**

He was a Celtic youth keeper before he was at Rangers. He's not a dud either he's a lot better than McGregor is
More to the point tho if we can only register 3 new players for the CL and he is one of them that means no new striker or not both of the twins doesn't it??

Marshall's move is becoming permanent in the summer. Brown is great backup for Artur - good move WGS.

Quite surprised by this. Mark Brown is a good goalkeeper who could hold down a place in the first team of most SPL sides.

This a good move by Celtic, he would be a more than decent back up to Boruc.

I'll second that, I stay in Inverness and have watched Brown turn into a top goalkeeper in the last couple of years, alot of Caley supporters say he is the main reason Caley are still in the SPL, fantastic backup to Boruc.
Cant see Marshall coming back to Celtic now....:celt_2:

Brown is a talented goalkeeper and still young however I get the feeling that GS is preparing for Boruc leaving in the summer? hope i'm wrong

Brown must have been given guarantees about 1st team football because he knows what its like to be on the bench for Rangers

And Marshy is going on loan and will be back in the summer, which makes me think GS believes Clubs will be interested in Boruc in the summer

Nah don't be reading too much into that. It's more of a case of Marshall leaving and Brown coming in as back up to Boruc. Big Artur is going nowhere, unless someone comes in wae a £10 million bid or summit!! :celt_2: :shamrock:

I agree totally that he is only back up to Boruc but at least we will have someone decent in if Boruc does get injured or suspended or something though I do fear Celtic turning in a hun brigade as we now have Miller, Pressley and Brown.:shamrock:
