Quite surprised no one has mentioned this one...

The build up in the media to the Celtic V Rangers clash in August 2004 was about Alex Rae's debut, and how this so called hard man was gunning for Neil Lennon.

2 minutes into the game, Rae and Lennon ferociously came together in a 50/50 challenge for the ball. There was a deafly silence around Celtic Park as the fans anticipated the clash between the pair. The noise that came from challenge as the two players clattered the ball at the same time was clearly heard!

While Rae lay there writhing in agony, Lennon simply got up and swaggered away with his chest puffed out!

Rae played the rest of the game, but was out injured for a whopping 10 WEEKS with a 2 inch tear on his calf muscle and a dented ego resulting from the 50/50 with Lennon.

After Vennegoor scored the last minute winner against The Scum in 2008, the 2-1 game. Scott McDonald set him up with a header, and after it showed Vennegoor celebrating the camera went on Skippy and he was on his knees celebrating and he got up and kicked the advertising board in delight, just showed how much it meant to him after he missed that penalty. I loved him for that because I knew he grew up a Celtic fan and that as much to him as it did to all of us.

Lennon's last game at Ibrox, there was a few moments. One he pretended to swing a punch at the ball boy when he dropped the ball infront of him instead of handing it over and then as he was going off at half time the whole 3 sections of huns were booing so he started walking slower and slower milking the boos then stopped at the edge of the pitch and bowed infront of their main stand before walking up the tunnel :icon_mrgreen: ive never heard the huns explode with rage like that before or since... and that is something!!!!

Kayal too in one of the last few home games of the season, cant mind who against or who scored but he collapsed to his knees as everyone was celebrating just off the pitch at the side of the goal and Izaguirre after the final whistle in the Cup final, done kind of the same only done his wee pointing his fingers up thing and was there for about 2 minutes praying or whatever he does.

That was more or less the game after Strachan brought Lennon back to Paradise....guess who probably told Robson and the rest of the team to go right through the hun *. Wot a guy!

l've got 3 l can think of just now,

1/ Game against the huns at Hampden and one of the De Boers goes up to header a ball just inside the Celtic half when Bobo comes from behind him and cleanly wins the ball whilst knocking De Boer about 20 yards up the field at the same time.

2/ Same venue and opponents, the hun centre forward is inside the penalty box about to pull the trigger when the aforementioned Bobo slide tackles in from what appears to be the half way line to knock the ball out for a corner.

3/ A video on youtube from the huns end at ipox of Artur coming out for the 2nd half and slowly jogging towards the goal before stopping and blessing himself whilst the filthy lot are going off their nuts.

 

Forgot about these,

1/ 1986 The look on the St Mirren goalies face as he is about to kick the ball out and news comes through to the crowd that Dundee have scored against the Jam Farts for us to win the league.

2/ In the old days when Celtic and the huns used to play at the same time and news came through on the radio that a goal had been scored against the huns. The reaction of the crowd was brilliant.

When Stephen Pearson got Reiziger hooked (subbed) after about 20 mins at the Camp Nou. He kept skinning him until he was a red card waiting to happen.
