Voted Broto, Caddis, Pearson and Crosas but realistically a lot of them could have offered more to the team, Sheridan for example if he had stayed last season would have probably contributed a * of a lot more to the side over the course of the campaign than Daryl Murphy did.

Marc Crosas - Great midfielder who had the whole package to be a complete playmaker, sadly wasn't strong enough to fit into the Scottish game and we already had good central midfielders before he was given the chance, had he been given the chance I believe he would of been a great player for us and a regular starter.

Milan Misun - A big strong defender who could play at both CB and LB, I really wanted to see him play for Celtic and do well, but there must of been a reason why he never got a chance, only the management team knows.

Chris Killen - I can't believe I'm one of the only 2 to vote for him, I thought he would of been a good player had he been given more games, he was a goal poacher who knew where the goal was, had he been given the chance I think he would of been a good player for us and likely scored a good number a goals for us.

    David Marshall.

Was unlucky that we signed Artur at the time, played the 2 games against Artmedia and Motherwell and lost 9 goals which l dont think he was to blame for any of them. Never forget his display away to Barcelona, one of the best individual performances l've ever seen from a Celtic player.

I second this, Marshall could have been better than Gordon and McGregor if he had stayed as first choice and fulfilled his full potential.

Oh, definitely agreed. I'm glad we got Boruc because he was such a hero, so I'm happy how it ended up, but I always thought Marshall could have been a great.

When I think about Stephen Pearson there is two games that always stick out in my mind..................

Celtic 1 Barcelona 0 - Pearo was outstanding that night. It must have been one of his first ever European appearances and he didn't look out of place at all up against a high quality Barca midfield.

Hearts 2 Celtic 3 - Celtic were 2-0 down and going nowhere. Then Pearo came on. He scored the first goal for us and completely turned the midfield in our favour. A great cameo performance.

    100%

He was unfortunate. He was the best young keeper in Scotland at that point.

Crosas and Riordan, crosas was a nice tidy player, and riordan has always been decent, but neither really got a good run of games in celtic side to prove themselves.

There's only 1 player on the list I think we'll regret selling and that's Crosas.

Celtic knocked back his development 2 seasons and he still absolutely adores us. Disregarding his personality though I thought his stature was merely a reason for people to slate him. He would have worked perfectly in a Lennon set up because his ball retention is second to none and he works hard.

Don't get this crosas loving at all.
Sure he was a nice guy and loved the club but he got plenty chances and wasn't able to hold down a place. He played under 3 managers and wasn't first choice for any.
Can anyone pick out a game when crosas took charge and ran the midfield?

Brafheeid was brutal mate,, Kamara & Kapo looked half decent though... i voted Riordan wee ned or not hes a wee grafter,,niggly as * & also has the skill & nose for goal.. & Koki Mizuno..he always impressed me when he played ,i thought he looked a cert for the future!
