Ever hated a player now or then?

Off the top of my head: Rab Douglas, Majstorovic, Samaras and Fortune.

 

Christ, yous dont even sound like celtic fans. Why post about hating celtic players ? Especially the people posting about current celtic players, its not on.

 

I agree.I mean,Samaras just doesn't do it for me.I'm gutted when he comes on tbh,but I don't hate him,personally I like him,I think he's a nice big guy who wants to do well but doesn't get the finger out often enough to merit staying here any longer.

It's not as if players come here on purpose to be bad.Sometimes it just doesn't work.

 

I've never "hated" a Celtic player but there are two players who it really */* me off to even see them on the pitch in a Celtic strip.

Paul Telfer and Georgios Samaras.

* useless the pair of them.

 

Can't say I've proper hated a player. Didn't like Berkovic, was a tool. Never like Miller, even before we signed him.

 

I genuinely don't mind Samaras. My friends, family the forum members give him a * slating and i'm the only one to stick up for him. I hope he has a good season next year because when hes good he is really good and on his day is easily one of the best celtic players just now.

 

Never hated a player when they played for us but Burley and Viduka I really hate now.

Viduka could have been a legend but he was a stroppy * and Craig Burley is a vindictive, chip on his shoulder, complete waster of a person.

 

I assure you I'm a huge Celtic fan. That's exactly why I hate these guys. Samaras takes the pish out of our club with his half-arsed performances every season then gets a new big contract. * work for it you greasy *.

Majstorovic cost us the title. An apparently experienced defender who looked like he'd never been in a situation before where he had to header a ball to safety (Inverness). That's not the only time he * us, if we're being brutally honest here.

Fortune was just a disgrace. One of the worst players I've ever seen in a Celtic jersey. A Celtic jersey which I was always led to believe does not shrink to fit inferior players. It obviously does.

Rab Douglas was a big diddy who cost us in multiple finals.

It's hard to think "Oh, they play for Celtic, how can I not love them" when you watch these guys play and they consistently leave you pulling your hair out. I don't care what shirt they put on, they have to earn the adoration from our support the way so many of our greats have done in the past.

Hate is maybe a strong word for someone who is simply incompetent at their job but it wasn't me that created the thread title.

 

I don't tend to hate celtic players, unless they are proper *, e.g loovens.

i hated miller.

i did/do not hate, mcmanus, caldwell, robson, hartley.... how can these guys be hated.

Burley's a * of the highest order.

 

How can you be if you talk about hating celtic players? I just dont get it, its a * shambles when fans come out and talk about hating players.

I don't hate them personally as I do not know them. I hate that they play for Celtic though. I hate them in a pure footballing sense if that makes sense.

 

It makes sense but i dont like it when Celtic fans hate celtic players for the footballing matters. If they sign for celtic, we should try and act positive towards them. Not * pound them. You get people nowadays booing certain players .... * is that all about !?!?

Some of the suggestions so far have been justified because although every player who comes to Celtic should be respected, but if they don't show the same respect back then * them. True there's only been a handful, if that.

 

Mo Johnston. Other than him, no one.....well maybe Miller too!

 

Have never really hated a celtic player. Been a few that i think have made silly moves away from parkhead when if they had stayed maybe been better players like big pierre van hooijdonk, seeing him leaving and going to a team like forrest was a gutter.

Think if a player is to get better at celtic he needs the fans support behind him or he will lose confidence.

 

How can you hate Barry Robson ?

As for me I don't hate any players currently playing for us but ex-Celts that I hate are the likes of Burley, Miller and Judas. Other rent-a-quotes that get on my wick are McGarvey, MacLeod and Davie Provan.

 

Andy walker's a bit of a *, when it comes to talking about celtic....very rare you hear a good word from him.
