    I'm not picky.
    Must admit that I've never really seen him play but if he's as good as people say he is and as his reputation says then I'm all for it. We need a strong, commanding CD again and I think this would be a good move for us if it's true.

    If he's a Bobo Balde type of defender then * yeh :50:

    Very good defender. One of the hardest defenders we had in the national team. Would be an absolute class buy if he stays fit that is.

    Ghod, that's some team. great bench as well. unfortunately if we get Long, i can't see Bothroyd willing to come here to sit on the bench. would be great though. finance-wise, the team is very achievable. Bothroyd on a free, Boulahrouz for £1.5m, Given for £2.5m and Long for £5m. £8m spending will depend on who is going. if we sell the deadwood there is no doubting we could spend £8m. even on wages, we'll be reducing it by shipping the deadwood and replacing them with these four players. we have a bloated squad and i predict we'll punt around ten first team players this window. i mean we're going to lose Hinkel and Ljungberg indefinitely saving around £45k a week alone. that would cover Boulahrouz and Given's wages.
