Ki today.

We need him for the run in, but he isnt gonna be more than a squad player. One paced and tends to get caught on the ball.

 

Here is my opinion on Ki, when I first saw him, his play excited me, but now I'd say since the new year. he has been so indifferent in his play. He has skills undoubtedly, he has plenty stamina, he tackles a wee bit eratic, but he tackles well. But his corners, his free kicks, * me, they are pathetic. I am a bit undecided about Ki, and I also thought he was non-existant the day.

 

Ki wasn't in the game at all today. I'd give him till Jan and if he still has settled into the first team I'd think about selling him.

 

i was a big fan of ki for a good while, but i think that he lacks passion for celtic in most games. its like he doesn't really give a * whether we win or lose. Despite this, when he is in the mood he can be a very good player for us.

 

imo Ki is a waste of space.. we have juarez on the bench he was great at the start of the season for us and he hasnt even had a look in. really think juarez could do so much better thank ki. never been a fan of ki hes had his good games but he doesnt make a big impact on the game. really wanto see juarez get a start ahead of him.

 

agree hes a * waste a space. his two n three yard passes then not moving * me off constantly. duno what everyone sees in him.

 

what ki does can be done by most midfielders in the spl

 

I've got a theory on this Ki/Juarez thing, but it might seem like Lenny bashing which it is not intended to be.

 

Slack passing - which is usually not something expected from him.

Gave the ball away numerous times and didn't look at his best. He has the chance to show what he can do now that Kayal and Ledley are out and so far, he has been disappointing. I think we can all agree that he is a quality player on his day, but he just hasn't looked up to it the past few games. Rustyness maybe? He should be able to cope with it.

 

Ki always works his socks off to cover for our midfield who likes to attack but never peg back to help out the defence. He plays the best in the advanced playmaker role best but he works well enough as a holding defensive midfielder. Probably the most underated player in our squad atm. People need to remember how good he was when he was played further up the park by lenny

 

I would give him another season.

Correct, one paced, same as Crosas. Im not sure how long his contract is but if we could get a fee for him, then we should look to offload and cut our losses.

Did okay today, but as has been shown, will only ever be good enough as cover.

 

Ki actually has decent pace. He isn't that quick off the mark but I've seen him at full-on sprint and he's certainly not a slouch.
He doesn't seem to run with the ball or dribble much but I've seen him making runs from deep a couple of times and he can motor if he has to.

Most of the players in the squad will be quick over distance, but its the first 3/4 yards that I think that he struggles with. Doesnt get forward as much as he should. Came here with a rep for shooting and scoring from distance, but hasnt shown it.

 

Considering he usually plays as the deepest lying member of our midfield it's not that surprising he has only scored 3 goals this season. You will remember his peach against St Mirren and I think he often shows he can strike a ball well.

There is more to come from Ki I think, I just hope that he gets the chance to show it and if he is, that he seizes the opportunity.

 

I think he has had plenty of chances to show it, but when Kayal and Ledley came in the team started performing much better. Its just they are better players. He is gonna get a chance now, so hopefully he helps us win the next 2 games.

He can strike a ball well, but 3 goals all season isnt a great return.

 

I know mate. Juarez deserves to play before Ki.

As for the part about his chance - I really hope he shows us what he is capable of. He hasn't been bad by any means, just not great, but I really have no idea why there is such vitriol directed towards him by some fans.
