Against STJ he was okay. He just was not allowed to go forward as much because Kayal wasn't there to do all defensive work. Yesterday though...:54:

Really good player, made a poor mistake. Hopefully deals with it and gets stronger.

Who would pass the ball to that striker? If we still had Crosas, then maybe I'd accept this idea.

August 24th Ki is a great player. August 25th Ki makes a mistake, therefore Ki is * and should be sold.

Teams would actually laugh at us thinking we had players of this value based on recent results.

Crosas done nothing in scottish football

If the £8M bids are accepted, it would cover us for the 1/2k debt, 3M loss from the Europa, and leave us £4M to buy a striker and centre back.

thinking of the money mate , we need a striker and we have plenty of midfield players , it would also allow forrest or mcourt a deserved place in the team , if we got a bid of 10 million for him right now we would be silly to turn that down, dont get me wrong i think KI is class , but we have to do something drastic to win this title back imo

We're in a very stable situation. I doubt a bank would refuse loaning us money. We could pay it back with good European performances that get you money(if Sion get punted), and qualifying for the CL. Selling Ki means we need to find a creative midfielder again. And they are the ones who service the strikers. Forrest is a different kind of player, and McCourt sometimes forgets to pass the ball to others. Ki has no replacement, in our team.

A good striker might make us do good in EL. With let's say Caracciolo, we would be able to do well in Europe, and then we'd know spending and even going in debt a bit pays off.

I still believe they'd trust a 'might' from Celtic FC more, rather than Rangers FC. If any of the bankers know football, and see our roster, they would see the sense behind our spending anyway. We need a tall CF to improve our game. At least we can win the SPL comfortably then, and qualify for CL, which means a lot of money.

Still, we are not in the financial position of Rangers. We are solvent. No need to sell Ki in our financial situation. Improving the team requires us to keep our most useful players, anyway. And then replace the ones who are the weaker links with better players.
