That performance tonight was shocking IMO. He's been great since May, but tonight lacked that creative edge.

Disagree. He was one of the better performers tonight. It's hard to have a creative edge when the tactic is get the ball to the LB to punt up the pitch to the lone target man who will then flick it on to nobody!

Some of his passing in the first half was great. Unlucky right at the end as well.

I suppose that's the danger of performing so well in recent weeks. People become spoiled and expect you to turn into Lionel Messi fs.

 

Tonight was Ki's worst performance for a long time, in my opinion.

I usually scrutinize alot, properly analyzing player's performances. More often than not I have a similar opinion as the majority, but tonight I really thought that tonight Ki slowed down more attacks than he created.

 

i didnt think ki was very good tonight, neither was brown. ledley for MOTM.

I don't agree with Ki being *. I think he was one of the better. One of few that wanted, and dared to do something creative.

 

I knew this was coming. Players dip in and out of form all the time yet I thought Ki was one of our better perfomers.

 

Ki was imo our best player tonight. Our midfield had no shape whatsoever and Ki was everywhere covering the lack midfield, width and creativity.

 

Ki and Cha both played very well IMO. Ki looked like the only player capable of creating a chance for most of the game. How anyone can say he was poor is unbelievable

Edit: Is it just me or does he look much faster than last season?

 

Ki was immense tonight, played like a leader, demanded the ball, tried to make things happen and was up and down the pitch from the first until the last whistle. Superb!

 

Ki was superb tonight - only player that looked like he was ever going to create anything, always looked for the ball into feet, never hid and played some wonderful passes but had one striker to aim for most times and very limited options. THis was down to bad management, bad decisions by lenny and I just hope we dont pay for them!!
