Some people only go for the football actually.

    Some do anyway.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and try to listen to others arguments, but, * me Towelie, you would need to have Paul McBride AND Johnny Cochrane on your side to convince me that you are not a wum.

No able minded celtic fan would wish to bait fellow fans with such deluded drivel as you are spouting, therefore your actions must be called into question!.

Followed Scotland abroad for over 15 years, world cups and euros. Never once seen any bother due to being a Celtic supporter. In fact, went to games with a group of Celtic supporters.

Only bother between fans I ever seen, one time only, was between a Dundee and Dundee Utd fan. Over in 30 seconds ,handbags,

The main problem seems to be your Avatar which you have already changed once already due to public demand but this one is'nt going down to well either so it would be best for you to remove that one aswell .

As I learned about peer pressure in school, just say no. Why should I not be proud of my country because it annoys people? I don't moan about the tri-colours many of them have in their avatars.

If you're a Celtic fan then good on you.

But don't come on here spouting * about Celtic fans not accepting all comers when you know fine well that if you went to Windsor Park, stood amongst 15,000 of your 'country'men and let it be known that you're a Celtic fan - you'd get * lynched.

The Linfield/Northern Ireland brigade are about as welcoming to all comers as Adolf Hitler was to Jews.

Not really but since its the norm here to get offended by flags, I know my avatar is a badge not a flag, I pick that it is the R.O.I flag which offended me.

That's great. But what I mean is, although obviously not to the extent of that with following NIR, you'll maybe want to detach yourself from domestic issues and focus on following Scotland- because there is a lot of different views and thoughts on the old firm and celtic in the country. But, if you're there to support scotland then that should be that and there should be no bother. but by accounts i've heard, there is the odd *.

Towelie, as a fellow Celtic fan, can you see and understand why people on the forum think you're a Rangers fan at the wind up?

I got your point, and I wasnt arguing, just saying I have never seen it. Never been in company where I have even been asked what club I support. Apart from one time in Paris, but thats another story. And it was fine. To compare Scotland fans with NI fans is a non starter.

There is no doubt that if you went to a NI game and you were outed as a Celtic fan, there would be bother.

    I couldn't support a team if I didn't like the supporters. And if I didn't, I definitely wouldn't go on a FAN fourm...
