parties a party just as longs as they dont expect a rendition of * save the queen hands on heart stuff.

Would love to have a street party just for the sake of having a street party plus you get a long weekend and tesco, asda and morrisons all having cracking deals on the booze and barbeques:icon_mrgreen:

My mom is mental over the royals. She loves 'em. I'm considering going home and hanging my tricolor somewhere prominent in the house the day of the wedding

Had to tell the uni that I am refusing to come in next friday as some of the guys I work with are planning to have a party in our * lab to show the chinese/russian/arab people what being british is all about.

I politely reminded them that they should only need to look at my country across the water to know what british imperialism is all about. Didn't go down to well with the Professor but * him

    I really don't give a monkeys.

I'm surprised anyone outside their immediate family and friends can work up any interest, either for or against. Total non-story. Sad really, how many folk choose to live their lives vicariously, through the lives of others...

To have a * for a dad and to have your mother assassinated makes me feel for him sometimes. But anyone who wants to "celebrate" outside of his family and friends has to be seriously * deluded. I'll be watching a repeat of the Crystal Maze on Challenge!

My union jack boxer shorts have been ironed and my bowler hat is hanging proudly on the wall.

My boss is having a 'Will & Kate' party. Jesus. I had to bite my tongue. Just as long as there's none of that in work I should be fine.

The hype is silly, won't be tuning in.

Why people go out there way to have street parties which probably wills and kate couldn't care less if there was one. And why celebrate someones wedding when you don't know them.

In the future if I ever get married I will be informing William and Kate and will be expecting them along with the rest of the UK to be holding street parties in my honour.
