If Samaras plays on Sunday...

...I dont know what I'll do. After that display anyone who would play Sammy over Stokes would be mental. Stokes has done enough to merit starting, is good enough to score against the huns and has proved that with Hibs.

I don't think there's anything I can say about this that I haven't said before. So I'll just say this............Neil, PLEASE start Stokesy.

 

I think if that's the way Lennon chooses to play it, then he will have done it for a good reason.

It was wonderful tonight to see Hoopy & STokes, They were leathal.

But I have faith in Lenny and his choice, whatever that may be.

I am still reeling from Samaras getting a 3 year contract.

 

Much as I'd love to see Hooper and Stokesy tear the boys in blue a new one, I can't see it happening. We'll never have enough time on the ball to do what we did today on sunday. You need an aerial presence and someone who is an easy out-ball from the back. If Lenny chooses Stokes and Hooper then I truly hope I'm proven wrong but if Sammy's on the pitch I'll give him my full backing because he's run them ragged in the past.

 

I think Lennon will start Samaras up front again on Sunday because we dont need to win ran*ers do,,...though id rather he started Stokes & Hooper im not expecting it tbh!

 

By that logic Hooper shouldn't be playing on sunday either.

My logic is that Samaras has played decent in one game this season, and over the 3 long seasons he has been here has been average to woeful.

Hooper, who has a natural strike partner in Stokes has been here almost a season and been banging them in for fun. They must be the partnership.

 

Hooper and Stokes PLEASE! Not Samaras, we'll be kicking ourselves if we lose. If we play Stokes and Hooper together and win (or draw) then we'll be over the moon. They are the two best we have.

 

Hooper doesn't want to play with Samaras, it will be a burden on the team. Playing Samaras only works if we are playing * like in December, and he can be a secret weapon/last resort. When our strikers are banging them in he shouldn't even make the bench.
