Not to me they don't. Our wins and goals have mainly come through break-aways. The way you're talking, we're dominating games.

We've yet to produce a performance of the same quality WGS's side did against Benfica. Take nothing away from Lennon's style though. It's effective.

    No.
Much too early to make comparisons. Strachan's side was battle hardened, compact, and highly experienced.

This present young team has the calculus to go on to greater things, especially if Lenny adroitly adds some real talent to its ranks in the coming years, that's if he stays around that long, because his manager credentials are soaring.

Hard to say, however WGS had a fantastic record in the domestic games follwing our European ones, unlike Lenny
Still there's no doubt this squad can get even better

This is a tough call. I think our current squad need to be more consistent on the domestic front.

Maybe we've not achieved as much under Lenny yet, although considering player ability and the way we play as a team, I think we're a better side and would probably beat a Strachan-era Celtic.

i would say both are similar styles of play ,lennys team edge it defensivley with strachans more superior in creating and dominating ,but i would also add we are without one of our top goalscorers and have been really clinical with any little chances we have had which must make teams we play very nervy at the back, just now this team needs an experienced pirlo type to pick early passes and keep play flowing and a striker who will put his head anywhere .

No, Strachan's team were more consistent.

    Except, they weren't.

Strachan's highest finish in the league was worse than Lennon's lowest.

WGS team was many great things, consistant wasn't one.

All you are talking about is points. Points mean * all if you look at the bigger picture.

WGS was far more consistent in the league when he was in the CL. Lenny's team don't have as much competition because the zombies have gone now.

Points represent how well you played over the season as a whole. 'Consistency', if you will. It doesn't mean * all.

Points mean * all? Points are the full point of the game :56:

Lennon's team also has went on the most consistant winning run since the 1930's I believe it was?

So basically outside of points amassed and games won and Lennon's win rate... Gordon Strachan's team was more consistant? Have you got anything to back that up?

WGS were a big moment team, with fantastic resilincy but consistancy wasn't exactly there thing.

You can't judge a managers performance purely based on points. There are many other factors to think of.

Like, winning trophies, style of play and doing well against teams like... probably the greatest team to ever grace the game?

I am concentrating about what is happening at the moment Europe and domestically. If the zombies where still here with their team of stolen money players that strachan had to compete with, he would be struggling. No doubt about it.

Player for player I think we are better now. As a team however I dont think we have done enough to suggest we are better than Strachans team.
