    Would trying to sign him not just go the same way as the mooted Ruelas deal, we would not get a work permit so its probably a non-starter.

    Disregard my last post, just checked his Wikipedia page and he has already made a couple of appearances for the full international side despite being only 18, so although we wouldn't get a Work Permit straight away we would probably get one on appeal by saying he has shown good enough potential at such a young age.

    As much as I'm dying to get an American who actually plays in the squad I feel that it would be better if Agudolo stayed. He needs to look at how Freddy Adu and Jozy Altidore moved to Europe to early while Stu Holden and Clint Dempsey grew there game in the MLS and are now key EPL players. One of the few young Americans to make an impact in Europe is Michael Bradley.

    While that's true, everybody is different. Josh Gatt, Joe Gyau, and Bobby Wood are probably our best U-20 players and they started their careers in Europe.

    As far as Altidore, he's doing a good job playing with Miller at Bursaspor, but I don't think he's what we need right now.

    I think it could be geat on two accounts if we could unearth a big American star just coming into the making,first and foremost we would have a great footballer,and you are all aware how our fans build the adulation for our top Bhoys. With such a star's abilities, and given such a profile as given to players like Larsson, Jinky, Billy, McNeil, Sutton, Lenny, Dalgliesh, etc. What an ambition to achieve. Secondly, think if this guy could hit the big time, the Americans would love it, think of the merchandise we could punt, think of the big demand for us to tour in America, think of the fan base we could build over there, and most importantly, think of the money it would generate for us, and think of the future THAT could hold for Celtic Football Club. I honestly, don't know anything about this young guy at all, but what I do know is, that I am more than pleased with Lenny's signings up till now :50:
