Hello Bhoys and Ghirls. I hate to spoil the positive atmosphere around here after Sunday, but thought it might make for a good discussion.

Basically, we are playing VERY well at the moment. Destroyed Rangers at Ibrox, destroyed 'title challenging' Hearts at Parkhead. Destroyed Aberdeen in the cup and then in the league, earned a replay with ten men after going a goal down at Ibrox, and now we've thumped the scum at Paradise. But now I'm worried that now that we're in this rich vein of form, it's inevitably going to dwindle, and before you know it we have the split, and we'll have to play at Ibrox and Tynecastle with both of these scummy teams with everything to play for. Does anyone share this fear that we're going to burn out too soon?

Don't really agree with that to be honest as teams need consistency to win leagues and that is all this team is doing now, being consistent I really think this team is far from peaking and we can expect much more from them in the remainder of this season and next. Yes we still have two difficult away fixtures but I have no fear as I don't expect the Huns to take maximum points from their games in hand and therefore relieve the pressure further still off of us.

no chance we will be out of sight by then i would hope the only game we drop points is maybe at ibrox and if we had everything else wrapped up i would take a draw

Tynecastle and Ibrox after the split will be brutal but if we win every game until then (very possible looking at the fixtures) then hopefully we will have points in hand.

Winning the league at Tynecastle would be SWEEEEEET.

its the best time to peak.we were average up until xmas but the team are now used to how each other play.i really cant see us going on a slump because theres too many good players not getting a game and because of this the guys with the shirts just now wont take their eye off the ball or theyll be replaced.

For a start I dont think we have peaked. Also points in the bag are better than hoping to peak later and still having to get thoes points. If we can open a points gap in the league then it will put more pressure on Rangers meaning they cannot afford a draw where as we can.

Have we really peaked? we're hardly thrashing teams 6/7-0.
    We're just chugging along nicely.
Anyway we have so many options for when a player is out of form and needs a rest we should be fine.
I think a bigger worry might be over confidence.

Something else that worries me is looking at our slump in November/December. We had Hooper and Kayal out injured. Say they were injured again.

All the top pundits are saying we're doing this at right time, and I agree.

Long may it continue! We can beat any team.

Burn oot we`ve just started. Even yesterday despite how easy it was and looked the team performance wasn`t better than the last game at Ibrox. We have had our drop in form ( Dundee and Inverness at home), the team is coming together and I believe can get better.

My only concern is that after all these fantastic wins/results, at the end of the day, we might ONLY be 2 points clear.

Feels like we should be 10 clear. The mhanks are minky manks, but they keep winning.

I hate to sound pessimistic. Don't get me wrong, I'm as excited as the next guy about this Celtic team. But what happens when NL starts his touchline ban? His presence will be sorely missed.

Think we`re coming into form at just the right time. We`ve got a big squad with tonnes of options.

Youre point is valid in that we shouldnt be getting to comfortable, every game is a must win from now on.
