Crosas' Letter

Makes me even more frustrated he never got his chance. Best passer of the ball in the SPL but our management obviously see no place for him in the first-team. His attitude is spot on and he's fell in love with the club, I hope he returns as a player one day if he proves himself.

Dear All,
After three years in Glasgow it's time to say goodbye. And it's hard. As a football player, all I want is to play and now it's time for me to move to another club and another league. Everything here at Celtic is fantastic, but another club is calling me with the possibility to have the minutes that I need. My job is to play football, and as much as I love this club, I need to play.

Over the last three years I have learnt a lot of things. Now I can say that I’m one of the lucky Bhoys to have played at Paradise in the green and white shirt. Being a part of the Celtic family has been great and Celtic will always remain in my heart.

After my time here I have came to understand why the Celtic supporters are well known all around the world and why this club is so special. There will always be a big space for all my fantastic memories here, the good moments when I was playing and even the bad ones. Marc Crosas is moving to another place, but a big part of his heart will remain here.

I would love to thank everyone who made me feel at home here – the staff, players and fans. I leave a lot of friends here. Real friends! I believe in this team, I believe in this club and I wish that at the end of the season every Celtic fan on earth will be proud of Lenny, Thommo, Johan, Garry and all my team-mates.

was just about to post his letter on here but you beat me too it. it was a very moving letter. seems a real nice guy, sorry to see him go!!!
can someone clear this up for me tho? how come he was aloowed to leave when the transfer window is now closed?

his love for the club was immence, despite the fact he wasnt a starter. he really was my favourite player and an excellent person. he is too good to be playing for FC Volga but i really wish him success in the future. Hail Hail

 

Russia league operate on a summer schedule so their windows for signing players is different.

all the best to marc as said in the other post about him going wish every player come to celtic and showed his kind of spirt and love for the club, not very many of these guys out there anymore. Trying to find the volley he scored for the reserves a week before the St Mirren one was a total cracker!

 

shame he never really got a much chance here had a good run of games under strachan when he played the team looked soo much better, will always remeber the old firm last season when him and nguemo absolutley destroyed rangers, all the best for the future Marc , Hail Hail !!

 

Think he'll be back someday. He's now a fan aswel.

it's a * shame he wasn't given a real chance. He's better than ki is IMHO yet ki takes priority purely because we want that market in Aisia!!

Total gent top class you could never question the lads love for the club just a pity he was not given a fair crack at the whip here and just a pity we are so strong in the middle of the park.

I'm a massive critic of his but even I think that's an extremely decent thing to do, it's clear to see he's caught the Celtic bug and good on him. All the best, Marc

can't fault him for leaving, but would have rathered him go to a decent club

Didn't get nearly as many games for us as he deserved, but a true Celt still.

Really became imbued with the spirit of the club, and I wish him all the best: like he says, he's a footballer and he needs to play football.
