- this song , has crept back in to our away games lately, and i think it's one we should avoid. The non-catholic fans, either ours or others may find it offensive and it doesnt do the club any favours, - giving the impression that we are just as bad as the huns.

I'm with u here mate. But it will never dissapear I heard it against united at the w.e but was a small group.all for the rebs and that specially against the manky mob when the spit out there bile

 

Even as a "protestant" I dont actually find it offensive, but the fact is talks up one religious group, and puts down another is hunnish behaviour.

 

should be kept to sing against rangers only. to alienate there support and not our own or any other team.

it is a sectarian song no two ways about it and 2 wrongs dont make a right but it getting belted out at parkhead on sunday would wind them up no end

 

Away and *! This is one of the main reason's why parhead has a * atmosphere these day's because we can't sing what the * we want. I honestly hate and detest these thread's. The song does NOT say anything negative about any other sects or religions.....just that it's good to be a Catholic, so no matter what way it's spun by some, there is * all wrong with that!

Secondly...secterian my *! Why? because it says * King Billy and John Knox? * them indeed, two of whom are Catholic murderers and planners of Catholic genecide...so yes * them indeed!!!!!!!!

I agree.Personally i'm not offended by the song.* King Billy and John Knox,two of the most sectarian men that have ever set foot in Scotland.It doesn't put down any religion either,it puts down bigots like the orangemen.

But this song isn't singing about Protestants.Being a member of the sectarian orange lodge is very different from being a Protestant.Maybe you can't tell the difference.

Why do you tink we have one of the greatest derby's in the world because of the hatered we have for each other . People like you need to get a grip and give your head a shake because your destroying our great derby.
