I've said for a long time that Brown needs someone or something to wind him up in a game before he gets going and this was no different.

His lack of passion for the hoops is something that I always highlighted, he doesn't interact much with the fans, although it has certainly improved this season.

I think the OP has a point.

Lack of passion for the Hoops?

Broony may not be a Celtic fan but there is no player in the Celtic squad that gives more effort on the pitch than Broony. You can question his technical skills at times but I don't think you can question his effort.

    Completely disagree.

I've watched him coast through numerous games and like I say, it takes someone like Diouf to wind him up before he looks interested, you can't tell me he puts in more of a shift than Wilson, Izzy, Hooper or Kayal?

Clattering into tackles like an idiot and having running battles with whichever player * him off is not my idea of 'passion for the hoops'.

I'm talking about running to the fans when a goal goes in, you score at Ibrox you go a bit nuts, you run to the fans, just like Sammy did, all he was interested in doing was winding up his latest victim. I found it as hilarious as everyone else, don't get me wrong.

If it helps him play better, I'm all for it, but no one can tell me this guy has passion for the jersey he pulls on.

I wouldn't say Broony puts in more of a shift than the players you listed because they put in their lot as well. I think Broony gives as much as those players though.

If by 'passion for the jersey' you are talking about genuine heartfelt feeling for the club like we have then yes you are right. However, I think the amount of effort and committment Broony gives on the pitch shows that he has a lot of professional passion for playing for Celtic if nothing else.

It's common knowledge, Kevin Thomson even said it when he joined them.

His best mate told me, havent had the pleasure of meeting Scott, but I believe Kevin, he wouldnt have any reason to lie. Also as much as Kevin loved playing for Rangers, he was brought up a hibs fan, his dad is a massive hibs fan.

EDIT Im aware you wont see that as solid evidence but short of getting broonys number asking him to sign up and admit it on a celtic forum, I'm not sure what else would quantify as solid evidence

Yeah, I can also add that he is in fact just as much of a * off the field!

Like charging his family for the free tickets that he got for games

Haha I didn't need to hear that to know Thomson is a *. I'll just add that titbit to the already substantial pile of evidence. :icon_mrgreen:

    Where did you meet him?
