As fantastic as it was to see Brown noise up "the moron",i have to admit feeling not entirely convinced of his motive. We all know he grew up a Rangers fan,and for long periods since we signed him,he has not been the fans favourite....and indeed there have been suggestions he was a waste of money and hasnt progressed as a player since his Hibs days,so,given those circumstances, does anyone else think he acted the way he did, purely and simply to ingratiate himself with the fans?I cant think of another Celtic player apart from McGeady and Lennon that would have ever acted like that in recent years, but they have the history behind them, the Irish link etc...he doesnt....and even then,i dont think they would have done that.So basically my point is,i think he has been in here or other places, and seen the poison directed at Diouf, and made his mind up to do something, and luckily he got a fantastic opportunity by scoring such a goal....and Diouf was also nearby! It just doesnt seem genuine for me.He is a professional, and he knows the do's and dont's,so he must have known it would cause a stir and yet he still done it...as if he had been a diehard his whole life!!! Am i being too cynical?Probably, but does anyone else think along these lines?I only really thought it through after reading big Billy's article in the Sun today!

Im getting sick and tired of that.
    The Irish Link.
Celtic is a Scottish club with Irish ROOTS.
    not an Irish club.
Larsson didn't have an Irish link.
Big Jock, and Kenny Dalglish supported Rangers as kids.

Whether he was a Rangers fan, I don't care, he will have moved past that and only focus is Celtic.

By the way, dont believe the sun ahahhaha:56:

no everything mate , it bugs me too that you get the ppl that constantly bring in the irish link , brown is celtic captain and he has every right to show his emotions on and off the pitch for the club he now loves :50:

Like sure my Last name is O'Hara, but like * my family havent been in Ireland for hundreds of years, the only link i have is my uncles wife who's parents were from Ireland like really.
I have no connection to Ireland, so does this mean i should go and sign up on the HunMedia?

My reason, maybe cause my granny's dad was a Tim and supported Celtic, she married into the prod's, my family was Rangers fans, but I had to back up ma nan:50: never regretted it since.

This is ridiculous. No, he did it because he had a heated competition with Diouf and wanted the world to know who he thought had won that battle. But even if he did do it to curry favor with the fans, who cares? That just means he knows what the fans want.

I' not sure he was a rangers fan... remember he had the chance to sign for them, he turned them down to sign for us. If I had the opportunity to sign for either club I wouldn't have to think twice. Maybe he just wasn't that big of a fan, so the temptation of more money was too much for him, but I'm really not convinced he ever was a hun.

    "Irish link" zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

He's not been a favourite because of his troubles off the park and his ankle so he's under performed. It's no coincidence that as sOOn as he returned this season he said it's the first time in nearly two years he's been pain free.

I wanted him gone in january but he's been excellent since his return. Apart from the daft red card of course

    Pretty pathetic thread.

Lenny loves Skoosh & he's the captain of the club - a club that's open to everyone, always was & will be.

Lenny's got him fired up, Diouf was owned & Skoosh took that game by the scruff of it's neck & inspired the team to dominate most of the match at Ibrox with a man down.

Aye, but he's not Celtic minded...what a load of *.

have u seen a handsome hun
if brown was playing against mother teresa, gandhi or desmond tutu at tiddly winks he'd find whatever edge he could to wind his opponent up to put them off their game...its what he does regardless of opposition...there isnt a team in the country who wouldnt want brown in their side......he's one of those players you hate to play, but love in your own team. the good thing about his celebration was that none of the huns can do it now or they'd just be accused of copying brown......it was an epic get it up ye to a player he was having a running dialogue with throughout the match........brown won round one......lets hope we win the next and next and next.......etc
