Personally, I believe he's not good enough whatsoever for a team of celtics calibre. I mean hes nufc 3rd choice keeper and for him to be our 1st is embarrassing. Just remember when they beat us at parkhead earlier this season, the goal came from a horrendous kick by the man. Massive old firms coming up, with cup and league and I really do hope he doesn't cost us any of the games. Surely somebody agrees.

He made an important stop near the end of the first half. Didn't do much wrong tonight

 

Made two good saves tonight IMO and well 8 cleans sheets in the last ten suggests that he is playing his part as much as the rest of the team. I do agree we should be looking at getting a better keeper in the summer but would not describe him as a weak link.

His kicking is awful but apart from that he is a pretty good keeper.

 

Erm...? He made atleast 3 important saves in the game today if he had a major * up then i would understand this thread but he did well today IMO

Forster kept us in the match at a crucial time. I think he is becoming better as the team is becoming more confident.

Definitely not a weak link.

He's a great keeper, growing in confidence with every game. I hope he's here for many years to come.

His only major fault is his kicking out, other than that he's a good keeper. He's a good shot stopper, good at getting crosses. I think we were spoiled wit Boruc for the couple years he was world class but we aren't a world class club anymore.

Answer me this, when was the last time we conceeded and it was his fault or he could have done better?

I rate him very highly and i hope we sign him on a permanent deal but I can see what the OP means. Forster has weaknesses in his game mainly his kicking. But he also could be more vocal at times, Big Maj keeps him right though.

I think people often forget how young he is and with experience he will become a top goalie.

I think he's been fairly solid. Would be pretty happy if he signed permanently as I reckon he has a big future.
He's probably 3rd choice as he's so young, don't think ability has much to do with it.

 

Aye thats what we'll do mate. So when the keeper has a bad game in the future we will all come flooding back here to pour praise on you for calling it right. Get a grip, fans like you just get on my nerves. Support the team and every player, the guy has done nothing wrong in the last dozen matches maybe more.
