    I thought we played very very well today.

    Great goal and debut by Commons. Amazing first half from us and we prevented Aberdeen from coming back in the second.

    However

    I can't believe people are saying Ledley was quiet. Utter *! ... He controls the tempo of the game and hardly ever makes a bad pass, not to mention the fact that he complements Kayal very well. He allows other players to push forward and play their own game. But Then again if you rate Scott Brown over Ledley then you quite clearly don't know much about football and it is useless trying to explain Ledley's contribution to the team.

    Superb first half, really showed what kind of a team we're turning into.

    2nd half was about keeping our powder dry for tuesday.

    Commons looking very promising, both in his play and his dead ball delivery.
    Hope he can find the consistency for us that he's failed to find elsewhere.

    And 100 grand profit at the vBookie - can't be bad! :56:

    agreed, ledley and kayal are much better centre mid's. They just play at a much higher tempo. It's a shame that brown has to be accomodated elsewhere on the park as he's captain. Bit worried about the amount of times he was coming in on the right and leaving the right back on his own. something to watch out for.
