when ki comes back...

will he go straight back into the team or not, and if he does, who will he replace?

i hope he does and i hope he comes in for brown but whether he does or not is a different matter. he will need to work for his place, thats for sure.

Ki and Kayal in midfield for me

I like Joe Ledley though so i'm kinda in two minds.

 

He'll need to fight for his place back that's just the way it goes and I wouldn't expect anything different.

 

Drop Brown and Ki comes in.

For me but i'd consider swapping Ki for Brown for the scrappier games. Wouldn't put Ledley back on until left with no option.

 

i wouldnt dare split up hooper and stokes just to fit in brown

 

in terms of form ki and kayal deserve to start

With Ledely drifting between cm-lm, izzy geting room to go forward, McCourt lots of freedom, Kayal holding the middle (not get silly early bookings though ) Ki picking the passes Cha/wilson whipping some balls in from deep

 

Ki and Kayal would be my central pair no question, that's assuming they work well together, individually they've been our best performers in that area. Just hope it doesn't take another injury or suspension for him to replace Brown.

I don't know where people have been getting this idea of playing Brown behind a striker, I mean we have players much better suited to that role, players with real skill like McCourt or Maloney when fit, Brown hasn't offered much attacking threat since he joined, only the odd flash here and there, he's not got the creativity for it.

 

I don't think he will, Lennon's best mate is Brown and Kayal is playing brilliant my preferred Midfield is Ki and Kayal it has everything, bite from Kayal, composure of Ki passing from both, Ki is capable of goals and Kayal comes close every game. Would win every midfield battle.

 

Broony is our captain, I don't see Lennon dropping him for Ki or anyone.

That would be my starting midfield, from what I've seen of all our central midfielders, if Kayal and Ki aren't our first choice just because Brown is 'captain' - then it's a crime.
