Hope he does well and stays, but we will have to wait and see. Hope we still go after Austin.

i will be over thee moon if this happens, before he had a bad run with injuries he was supposed to be "the next big thing" in england so i think we might get a pretty decent player here. also quite pleased it is a loan if that article is true because i wouldnt want us stuck with a flop for years

afaik he has played alot out wide for everton, and a fair few of his app are as a late sub, i reckon he would have played & scored more but for injuries.

good option for us should be a success, lets just see were we are at the end of season, hopefully we have first option to buy if hes successful.

Much rather Austin seems like same old Celtic always looking at cheaper options , not that i do not rate James Vaughan but has he fully put his injury past behind him .

3 of them were in his debut so he only scored in 3 games?

He would bully defenses in the SPL though but that would mean that Stokes would be dropped and he's already scored 8 and is a proven Goalscorer in the SPL...i Dont know whether i should be happy or not now :87:

It's the board taking the cheap option again, chance to put the huns away since Miller is leaving and they think it'll turn out O.K.

I don't see the point in this signing since Stokes is probably a better than Vaghuan. But if he joins then we have to support him :celt_2:.

On Sky Sports..apparently its a done deal but Crystal Palace are still bidding so the deal has stalled slightly ...never mentioned if it was permanent or loan

I think Vaughan would be a good signing. He is an aggressive and determined striker. Still think Stokesy and Hooper first choice strikers, with Samaras as the lone striker option for certain games. Vaughan would be good cover for the run in, with Maloney still injured.

But where does that leave Daryl Murphy ?
