    BBC's Chris McLaughlin is reporting that we're still looking to bring in another striker and on the BBC transfer update page, clubs are interested in Loovens and Samaras.

    Anybody else think Rafa Marquez would be a cracking signing??

    He's only 32, still in his prime and he plays for New York Red Bulls.

    He wouldn't cost too much and his wages would be manageable. He is quite a versatile player, centre mid, defensive mid and obviously centre back.

    I think an old head, (Not Majstorovic) would do our youthful team a lot of good! The guy was captain of Barcelona and Mexico for years, so this guy has clearly got bags of talent, and he's very good in the air for attacking corners.

    What do you guys think?

    he went to America for the money, the same as every other MLS european. we couldn't afford him. i would think he'd be on at least £50k a week.

    Aye I was thinking his wages could be a bit of an issue, a player of that ilk would do us a lot of good though! I think we could use an experienced player somewhere as we have such a young team.
